Unfortunately, I did not received any picture proposal for the contest. Thus I will not continue with the next phases.

I started a Globe Trotter project and I would like to write an article about South Korea (see presentation article, or three overview articles written since then: Season 1, Season 2 and
Season 3 each with 11 countries visited). I will give some details about the article after the Picture Contest section.

But before that please accept my apologies for not writing the article in Korean language or ideograms. I have zero knowledge about them.

The next picture is only a pale image of the beauty of South Korea. If you want to discover more, or you want to contribute please follow the picture contest.

Picture contest
Since some articles ago, I've transformed my usual "Hi! articles" in a contest. The reason for such articles is that I want to involve more people in discovering upfront the beauty of the countries I am visiting. And especially to encourage local citizens to share the marvelous places where they live in.

I had at some moment two failed contests but the last two ones were successful. Therefore I am proposing this contest again in South Korea.

The project, called Picture Contest, is split in three phases:
- Picture proposal;
- Picture voting;
- Handling the prize (500CC) to the winner.

Picture proposal
In order to enter the contest you have to provide me, in a private message (not comment), picture(s) from South Korea.

You can send me max 3 pictures from every player, please put them in clear order in one message. Please also put a small text describing every picture. If there are 3 or less players proposing I will publish all of them, 2 pictures per player if there are 5 or less players proposing, and 1 per player if there are more (sweet dreams).

The deadline for sending me pictures is 10:00 eRep time on day 3245.

In the situation there is only one player proposing pictures, I will stop the contest and handle a prize of 200CC to that player and I will no proceed to voting.[/i]

Disclaimer: The pictures you will provide may be part of the final article; it would be a pity not to use such beautiful pictures.

Picture voting
After the first deadline I will post all the selected pictures from the received ones (see above about selected pictures per player). The posting may happen in this article, or in a separate one for visibility. I will allow people to vote 3 pictures. The vote will end at 10:00 eRep time on day 3247. If you are interested to cast your vote at that moment please let me know and I will send you a private message.

Handling the prize
I will count first vote as 3 points, second as 2 points and third as 1 point. The picture with most points will be the winner; the player who proposed it will receive 500CC. If I receive donations or endorses that sum over this prize I will supplement the prizes.

Globe Trotter article

My Globe Trotter articles contained in the past different sections:
- Pictures and small text about the beauty of the country;
- Interesting Facts;
- History;
- Discussions with local people;

Basically only the picture section survived and is included in all my articles. If you want me to provide the interesting facts too, please let me know. For the last two I really need the input from the local community. Otherwise they will not be present.
