Hi, Slovenia! Hi, World!

I wanted to write this article since two weeks ago after a very successful visit to Peru which was followed by two failed visit attempts. I was considering making a break in my project, but then a simple post about my project got answered with a very warm invite to come to Slovenia.

So, dear Slovenian community, thank you for accepting me in your country and I hope the article I will write will fully reveal the beauty of your country. I will come back with more details at the end of this article.

The Globe Trotter project had several successes but also had quite some disappointing articles, counted at least from the level of reaction I had from local communities. Sometimes I had a lot of votes supporting me, other times the article barely got the attention. Sometimes I get heavy support from local players, either in form of personal pictures or personal search that had to be developed in a separate article. I know players that encourage me by voting almost every article I post. I know players that, from time to time, encourage me on my post or in the comments.

The fact I wanted to write the article two weeks ago was actually because of visit attempts failure: I wrote messages to players of both countries and get not answer at all or motivation about missing availability of citizenship. I had similar reactions in the past.

I am really eager to visit every country in the game and write an article about it. But I don’t want to force anyone to accept me. Thus after finishing a visit I will post messages about my availability to go to a new country. If you think my work is valuable please repost them; in the end, maybe, someone from an unvisited country will contact me.

Now I would like to go back to the reason I am visiting in Slovenia.
I started a Globe Trotter project and I would like to write an article about Slovenia (see presentation article, or two overview articles written since then: Season 1 and Season 2 each with 11 countries visited).

Please accept my apologies that this article is not written in Slovenian language, my knowledge about it is very limited. Another reason I will write the article in English is that I have some International readers (maybe not so many) that surely know this language. Thus the final article will be also written in English.

My article will contain two sections:
- Pictures and small text with the beauty of the country.
- Interesting Facts (at the suggestion of my good friend Swoosh - you know him, the missions article guy).
In the past I was writing a section with interesting history facts. I have the feeling you have some great facts about the eHistory of Slovenia. So please don't be shy and send them to me, I will add them to my article.
If you want to contribute with other input you are warmly welcome.
