The Q10 (Ten Quick Questions) – Tres Equis Edition
The Most Interesting Man in the World, Gulden Draak.
Q1: You have held a number of high level government positions including VPOTUS, executive level cabinet positions and congressman. What do you feel has been your greatest contribution to the eUS?
Gulden Draak: I feel that my greatest contribution has been my newspaper. My paper and thoughts contained in it is what catapulted me to those positions you mentioned above. I feel as though my paper has had a big impact on a generation of citizens as I have covered a wide variety of topics.
Q2: You served as VPOTUS under Alexander Hamilton. Can you explain you’re your role in the Hamilton administration was and what the role of VPOTUS entails?
Gulden Draak: VPOTUS is by far the best cabinet position I have held. Every VPOTUS experience is different and it usually depends on how much the POTUS will let you do. Hamilton was great to me and let me in on several things. I was able to participate in foreign affairs with prominent EDEN members and made several friends there. I was also able to assist in domestic affairs here in making sure people were doing their jobs.
Q3: After the Hamilton Presidency, many felt you would make an easy run to the White House yourself. Why did you decide not to run for POTUS after your term as VPOTUS? Do you think you will ever make a POTUS in the future? Also, are there any citizens that you’d like to see run for POTUS one day?
Gulden Draak: The role of VPOTUS prepared me greatly for POTUS. Unfortunately due to RL I was not able to run the month after Hamilton. However I plan to run in the future. Off the top of head citizens I'd like to see run for POTUS that haven’t already run/aren't currently running would be yourself (Hadrian X), HobbitTon, Ligtreb ofc, Nicholas Ryan, GoalieBCSC, and Justin McCravok.
Q4: You are generally considered one of the top writers in the eUS and you’ve recently started a writing award competition called the “Draak Award for Journalistic Excellence” to promote better writing and public discourse. Why do you think the quality level of articles has gone down to such a degree and do you think when the admins remove orgs it will alleviate any of the problem?
Gulden Draak: I think orgs have played a large role in the lack of quality articles for sure, however there are other factors that I believe have played a role. For one, writing is tough it takes a lot of time to publish a good article and the only hope you have of a reward is that media mogul medal which takes forever to get if you are honest. (i.e no food for sub deals). Also I think that people just get tired of writing bunch of stuff just to see nothing come from it. People will see your article but they won't bother to vote or sub your paper for some reason and that hurts young writers, they want to feel like their work is being noticed. So we need to do a better job of promoting good writing which is what I hope this award will accomplish.
Q5: I read recently that you are considering a run at Party President of either SEES or Feds. Why are you considering doing this and what do you hope to accomplish if you win the Presidency of one of those parties?
Gulden Draak: To me both of those parties are on the decline. Emerick has left which puts SEES in an identity crisis and the feds have been floundering for awhile. My hope if elected is to try and raise activity in these parties by bringing in new members and well established members the community. America needs 5 strong parties. When a party is struggling we need to rectify the problem and not just let it sit. If we do we will end up with a Dem Reps situation in which they were PTO'd by foreign forces which caused a crisis in the US at the time.
Q6: What is the MOST interesting thing the “Most Interesting Man in the World” has ever done?
Gulden Draak: Across the street from my house there erupted a great fire. An elderly lady had fallen asleep with a cig in her mouth. This lady was a cat lady so after calling the fire dept, I rushed over to try and help. She had already made it down the stairs so I helped her out. She was complaining about her cats inside though. I was able to go back in and get two of them before the Fire Dept showed up. The next day her single 32 year old daughter showed up to my house with cookies to thank me. She was gorgeous and I immediately put on my charm to seduce to her by showing the injuries I had gathered. She fell for my charm and I took her to bed. After our love making I was famished and finished her cookies. They were delicious.
Q7: Who is your personal eHero and why?
Gulden Draak: It would have to be former POTUS Chocolate McSkittles. Choc befriended me when I was a young citizen and helped teach me the in and outs of the game. He brought me on the Welcoming Committee to help new citizens. Then he got me my first cabinet position under HR. Without him I would have had no executive experience and as a result would have probably not gotten this interview with you today.

Gulden Draak: Delicious, Fantastic, Intelligent.
Q9: Who is the “Most Interesting Woman in the World”? (and may I have her phone number please?)
Gulden Draak: Scarlett Johansson. I would give you here number but I am currently trying to "console" her after her divorce. Once that happens she is all yours and a phone number will be granted.
Q10: And finally, if you could punch any eCitizen square in the face, who would it be and why?
Gulden Draak: Ajay Bruno. Though I am sure that is a popular answer. The guy is just so damn annoying and has been for as long as I have been playing the game. He never changes no matter how much everyone hates him. It is just constant mindless drivel with him with no direction or purpose.
Bonus Q: Do you have any final thoughts or is there anything I neglected to cover that you would like to address?
Gulden Draak: Remember the admins will always continue to ruin this game. The sooner you realize this fact and play for the community and your friends in the game the better off you will be.
