Goodness, what a day its been. So today is basically an account of what has gone on; I've decided that save for our mini-NHS/Retention update, I wont be including much in terms of ministerial input. This is purely because we've had a war day; everything we've done, or not delayed for another day, you can see the results of here. I won't lie and say its going great; it isn't. The support I thought we could rely on, has unfortunately either been diverted elsewhere due to necessity, or because of a continuation of old/boring wars.

So whilst we have been fighting for ourselves (I might add, for the first time this month), the majority of our allies have also been doing the same. Spain, helping Poland has been tied up against Canada. Poland, seeking to end Americas constant 100/100 economy, has been tied up trying to get initiative on American soil. Both of these wars, I would say, were of a huge importance. I knew that these wars were going on, and it was explained (and accepted) that we wouldn't be fighting there today; we'd be going for our own glory.

Alas, skirmishes in Macedonia, Kosovo, and throughout the morning, TEDEN support for a Resistance War in Dublin (which they are, for some reason still fighting in now), has meant that not only have we been distracted from our main goal; but ONE has been diverted elsewhere too.

I don't begrudge these turn of events, and its indicative of the situation we find ourselves in; ONE has big wars. We knew this, however its disappointing to see a genuine one off chance like what we had (and planned for) go amiss, in favour of continuations of Hungary-Romania, Macedonia-Greece, etc.

But that is by no means meant to detract from what we have achieved today; its important to remember that as a military, our alliance is weaker; as a nation, we are weaker. Yet before TEDEN prime (aka: when USA/Brazil win every war because everyone else is sleeping), we're actually equalling, if not bettering France; we're leading 34-32 in the current round, and have a strong shout of some decent points this round. As well as that, Dublin (which we were losing by 20 points at one point) is now 60-28 in our favour.

All in all, I'd give the effort of our military units, our military command, our dedicated self tankers (Yay for Sigfred, Emergy, Dan Moir, NWG, Carlini and Mr Reincarnate) a sold 8/10 for today. If we had a bit of luck on our side, and some of our allies had given us some more priority damage (which we could have got; we were in ONE orders for today) I genuinely think by now, we could have got Brittany close to closing; if not closed.

Again; I'm not bemoaning or hugely complaining; I'm simply pointing out that we have done very well today, despite not being huge winners in points. So whilst the result isn't what we wanted, the performance is hugely encouraging. Fortunately for us, we aren't in a knockout position; we have all but missed the opportunity to wipe France's congress; but then it was always going to be an uphill battle.

Most importantly, I'd like to thank each and every person who came online to get supplies; huge shout outs to Ultramilitia, Royal Navy, ESO and TUP, who have not only been hugely helpful in being very very responsive and co-operative in orders setting, but have all also had great strike turnouts. We'll have some more in depth attendance figures tomorrow, and I'll be throwing some congratulatory weapons to the MU who has the best attendance (quantitatively measured; ie most soldiers turned up).

Other than that, all I can really say is; Keep fighting hard, and doing us proud, Blighty. And a reminder; supplies remain open on #MoD (rizon server, or click here to go straight to our supply room) throughout the night, and again tomorrow morning. We may not be in time to wipe French congress, but I'll be damned if we're going to give up and whine about not having our wars won for us. Go forth and conquer! We'll do our best in Brittany, and hopefully in the future, go further into France. Although, I should say, I'm not one for gung-ho manoevers. The French may, and in my opinion, will, open a dialogue in terms of negotiations of peace. If thats the case, no agreements or decisions will be made without Congress being given a chance to vote, and the public a chance to offer their viewpoint. A 'ceasefire' however, is a pointless endeavour.

Anyway, thats enough of monologue for tonight, don't forget to keep fighting, and if you would be so kind as to chainshout the following, that'd be gran😛
