[UKGOV] Prime Minister's Reports - Day 7 (1666)

Day 1,666, 16:50 Published in United Kingdom France by Hell The Great

Hello Britain.

Firstly, here is a link to previous reports published this term;

Day 1 of the Term; eRepublik Day 1660
Day 2 of the Term; eRepublik Day 1661
Day 3 of the Term; eRepublik Day 1662
Day 4 of the Term; eRepublik Day 1663
Day 5 of the Term; eRepublik Day 1664
Day 6 of the Term; eRepublik Day 1665

So, today has been a mix of good and bad. Firstly, the bad. Our congress, and some foreign Presidents, have today wasted some money. In total, £20,000 has been used, which was not budgeted for, and in my opinion; was not really useful. If you want to see our idiocy; view no further than here and here.

Suffice to say, enough is enough. Certain congress members have, over the past few months, completely ignored guidance; indeed, some have actively worked against some of our countries interests; the security of our elections.

Henceforth, I have made clear to our MoLA that there are no more warnings. Take this, as my line in the sand. If you let in a citizen without permission (unless they're me, ofc), or if you break any other 'vital' thing - you will lose your access to sensitive, and the sensitive information which helps you represent our country and do your job. No questions, no more second chances. Its time for you to work for the betterment of our country, or GTFO.

Because these MPPs could be passed, we've had to amend some other MPPs; meaning that to keep our budget under control and ensure we don't overextend ourselves we wont be renewing a different MPP. I should add however, the South Korean MPP could be rejected; they have no congress. I have asked their President to reject this proposal; as he sent it without any form of contact with us. Hopefully he will accept my request; but I am working on the possibility that he wont; thus, the hit to our budget is only £10,000 in total; not the end of the world; but any waste is bad waste.

I'd also like to announce that on Day 1667 (Wednesday), at 8PM UK Time (12:00 eRep), we will continue our series of Strikes. ALL UK Citizens are welcome. Simply join us by following this link.

Whilst this strike is ongoing, some of the commanders of the UKs biggest, most successful and most powerful Military Units, will be joining me for an open and productive discussion on our military future. Unlike others, I want to reform and progress through consensus. As a President, as a Government, indeed as a Country, we must acknowledge that it is no longer Government which is responsible for our damage.

We have huge, very useful, and successful private MUs - I helped found one of the biggest, and I'm proud of its current role. However, with success, and power, comes responsibility. Thus, reforms to change how we operate are no longer just for Government; this reform is hopefully, one which will see Government and private MUs working together. I do hope that tomorrow, I can introduce and agree a system with these 'Militias' so that there is a clear system, with effective control of our divisional damage to best help not only ourselves; but our grorious arries.

Now, domestics. Firstly, I'd like to announce that N W G has agreed to replace the outgoing Betafoxtrot as co-Minister of Home Affairs. BigAnt will also be helping in the Ministry; meaning we have the perfect match of activity, experience, and hunger. Expect a much more engaged and hopefully, public, Ministry in the following days/weeks.

On that note, please do accept some more glorious statistics from the Ministry of Retention. Thank you to Mookie and BAE for their diligent work thus far; I hope you enjoy yet another update!

Today saw 9 new signups for 1st month and 3 for 2nd month. Another 5 people have requested a mentor, and mentors have been contacted and have started talking with their charges.

Something interesting to note is that I've seen a few of our NHS recipients getting a BH or twenty. I think this shows the importance of the NHS, it's equipping our Division 1 fighters to get out there and win.

Also, here is todays Ministerial report; a 'here is what we hope to do' from the new team; BigAnt and N W G;

OK, Regarding the MoHA - It has been too quiet and hence the decision to remove Beta was taken with immediate affect. NWG has been installed and I personally wish him all the best for a busy Month.

I will step into the MoHA role for a few days to help NWG setup and get him used to the busy schedule MoHA naturally brings.

More Media presence & Top 5 media
Beta failed to get any articles to be seen, and this was proved by lack of NHS sign ups since the start of his term. We will now dominate media from now til the end of our term. Pushing for more NHS sign ups is essential and this was proven with the higher retention rates.

Update Forum Library
The forum Library is massively out-of-date, I couldn't manage this last month with the workload, but NWG will begin tomorrow cleaning some of the old V1 stuff and updating with details from Kravenn's guide (Pending his permission).
This then will be a good platform for players (new) who use the forums and search for help, instead of being confused at the lack of current information. Whilst on this subject, pushing Kravenn's guide will be stepped up.

More PM-ing
More "Beast Lists" to send PM's to players in MU's and hopefully a new API list this month. Also Helping the MoR team with Welcome messages for new players in the "Online List" and adding to their current new player tracker.

Games and Competitions
This will continue and be stepped up, more prizes and ingame/forums games with prizes up for grabs, lets bring some fun back to a MoHA which has the time to fulfill the running of said games.

Other Stuff
With the new war module - UK Gov we hold a meeting tomorrow (13th) to discuss new plans. MoHA will be helping push these ideas out and promoting etc, so watch out for that 😃

Thats it for today folks; see you tomorrow!
