[UKPP] URGENT UKPP Please read.
WayneKerr
There have been reports of Jimbojoy/tUP messaging our party declaring that we are supporting them. This is false, and is nothing more than tUP’s desperate grab for power once again. We urge all members of UKPP to ignore the messages from the Jimbojoy Campaign and vote as you see fit.
Recent events have led to the UKPP to be falsely supporting tUP, rather than our intended CP candidate Baroness Margaret Thatcher. The party has no wish to be officially supporting Jimbojoy, powers beyond our control have rendered it impossible to support our own candidate, due to in game mechanics.
As such we will be calling a FREE VOTE for this CP election.

Supplies are delivered on a weekly basis (sundays) and currently rationed at 10 Q6 Tanks for every day worked (rising to 16 when we get our nation back!). As a member of the UKPP you will of course be receiving the weekly party supply of food (fridays) which currently runs at 100 Q5 per member. If you kill at least one enemy per week.

voted mate
under the circumstances we are in you have explained it well
Brilliant info.
Are you sure you just don't like the results of any poll? I'd be interested to see why it was a TUP grab for power, who's your PP ad what party has he always been in since he came to the eUK?
Voted.
Voted!
Betaploxface, you don't make sense. BMT won the poll against Wayne. Due to Alfagrem resigning, and someone who was at work at the last moment, and game mechanics, the UKPP is technically supporting the TUP. But The UKPP doesn't support TUP, infact it pretty much dislikes it.
Surely can't understand why TUP would think UKPP supports TUP with an in game nomination and all. I mean, it must surely be a bug that forces a Party President to resign, or click three buttons that aren't in the middle (and accidentally available) to support a random candidate that isn't from your own party.
Good to see that this is being rectified.
Dish, the PP of TUP was our placeholder, TUP then backed Jimbo and we still were holding the place with the PP. Alfagrem resigned and never changed the CP support. Legend of Persia (new PP) didn't change the support in time. Before this, though, an ingame mechanism changed the PP placeholder to Jimbo.
\o Drama
As with ESO the PP didn't particularly relish the choice of the party poll. In the UKPP case the PP resigned rather then ignore it.
Also......free vote o/
You quit because you didn't get your own way? How unusual.
"Dish, the PP of TUP was our placeholder, TUP then backed Jimbo and we still were holding the place with the PP."
LOL i did not expected i will be there till end becouse i know all parties have their own candidates... Even if i did stay till voting day its hard ill get some votes.
Similar things happened in the past when Temujin ran. In the middle of the election ESO members got his message:
'A great member of the eUK commuinty (Daeres) has run under an ESO banner, for the role of country president. Unfortunately for him, he now has no chance of winning as the vote's for the two other main candidates are just too high.'
We were told then that it was a rogue member sending messages. I would be curious to see the message Wayne, as it will affect how I vote.
Yes, I'm sure the game just automatically changed your placeholder candidate to Jimbo, because that's how it totally works.
Also, Dan was right. Alfa quit because he didn't like not having total control. How odd.

Hi there,
I'm Jimbojoy and I'm the TUP and UKPP candidate for the CP elections on saturday. We're so glad that UKPP are supporting us this time, our party is about unity, and we hope that working together, we can bring more fun into the game and help newer players out. If you would consider logging in and voting for me on saturday, I know we can work to make this country awesome, and win more battles as friends and countrymen :
P Here are my manifesto's, take a look at Domestics HERE: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/jimbojoy-for-cp-may-2012-2024841/1/20 And Foreign Affairs/Military HERE: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/jimbo4cp-foreign-policy-defence-2026245/1/20
Thanks,
Jimbojoy
This was the message sent to all members of the UKPP
We do not support him
although I'd like to see BMT as PP, maybe all UKPP members should tactically vote for Sir Humphrey to ensure Jimbo doesn't win.
I lol'd.
Embarassing for Jimbo and UKRP.
