[UKPP] Basic Guide to Health

Day 1,608, 11:29 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by WayneKerr

Health
Health is one of the most important things in your eRepublik life. Without it progession of your account will grind to a halt. You can find your health value easily from your sidebar or profile. If your health is below 10, you cannot "work", "train" or "fight". Thankfully the UKPP provides it's members with 700 health points a week. Giving you one hours worth of health for free everyday!

What causes your health to deteriorate?

Working: -10 health/work action;
Working as Manager (WaM) -10 health/production action; (per production)
Training: -10 health/train session; (per training
Fighting: -10 health/fight click. (per hit)

How to Regain Health

Waiting for an hour will give you the chance to heal 100 health points. Using your Town Hall upgrades you can give you up to 500 health. Provided you have enough health points you can raise health instantly by:

eating food;
using a hospital in a battle;
buying a health kit. (not recommenced)

Food

Food increases the citizen's health. Like all products, it can be purchased in the Marketplace or produced by WaM, and is consumed by clicking the Eat Food button.

If you do not have any food in your inventory, the Eat Food button will change into a Buy Food button which links you to the marketplace. If you have no food in your inventory, you are 'dead'. Thankfully eating some food will return you to life.

Types of Food

There are six varying qualities of food, with higher quality food having a higher star rating. Each increase in the quality of food increases the potential amount of health restored by intervals of two. Thus, quality one (represented by one star) food restores two health while a quality six food restores twelve health. And while higher quality food may restore higher health, the best type of food to buy is the one that gives you the most health for your money. A player is only limited by the amount of health they can recover in a set amount of time.

How to Consume Food

You can only consume food by clicking the Eat Food button, which can be found in the sidebar of any eRepublik page, underneath Health. After clicking this link, your health will be restored as close to 100 health as possible. First your citizen will eat the highest quality food in your storage. If the highest quality food will make your health rise over 100, instead of the highest quality food the next highest food unit will be eaten. The health values of the citizen will then increase the amount that is given to the food consumed. The information of health will be automatically updated both on the sidebar itself, and on the user's profile itself. The amount of remaining health which can be consumed will be displayed in the tooltip button.

Note: If you have energy bars in your storage, they can be consumed after you restored all the remaining health that can be recovered with food.

Energy Bars

The energy bar is an item that restores your health to 100, no matter how much health you have. The energy bar will not consume any of your daily consumable health points.

How to get one?

Energy bar can be obtained through one of following ways:
Rank up
Missions
Purchase (35 loyalty points/5 gold each)
Daily Order Completes
Occasionally energy bars are given by Admin as a small gift to players.
Note: You can't sell or transfer the energy bar.

How to use it?

Eat Button
You can use energy bar if you have energy bars in your storage and at least one of following conditions apply:
you don't have any food in your storage
you can't consume food because you don't have any recoverable health.
If it's possible to eat energy bars, the eat food button will be orange. You can use the energy bar by simply clicking the Eat button.

Tip: To use energy bars efficiently you should decrease your health to 0 by working, training or fighting before eating energy bars. If you have some health and you use the bar, the excess health will be lost (if your health is 20, the energy bar gives you only 80 health and 20 goes down the drain).

Energy bars don't affect to the recoverable health limit
