Running for Federalist Party President
The Federalist Party Presidential Primary process was put in place last month near the end of fingerguns' term in office. Following some refinements, the Federalist Party Political Director, CrashNBurn, has posted a new Primary thread on the Federalist Party Forums. I encourage all Federalist Party members to register for the Federalist Forums and participate in the Party President Nominations and Primary Poll. It is my great privilege to have been nominated for Federalist Party President. I humbly accept this nomination and look forward to the opportunity to continue serving the Federalist Party.

When I first joined the Federalist Party, I had just reached Level 7 after a day of fighting. It was the day after the June congressional election and I had just moved to FL following a trip from Washington, DC to Louisiana to vote for a Federalist Party candidate. I have been active in the party on the forums and IRC ever since.

The Federalist Party got me early.

Since joining the Federalist Party, I have worked in the Better Business Bureau to help teach eRepublik citizens how to run and work for a successful business, and other ways to make money in the game. I soon became a 'link' in the Federalist Outreach Program, still in its early phases as a tool for communicating from the Party President to every party member. Still a new program, I struggled to make a difference under inactive District Representatives and was eventually promoted to the District Representative of the New Jersey District. In this role, I was responsible for relaying the occasional message from the Party President to the 'links' in my district to pass on themselves to party members.

During my time as the New Jersey District Representative, I renamed my 'links' to Precinct Captains and frequently replaced unresponsive PCs to eventually have a complete set of active Precinct Captains relaying messages to the whole New Jersey District. Before I had time to settle into this position, staffing shortages within the party required a new Federalist Outreach Program Director to select new DRs and get the FOP system into shape. I also took over the day to day operations of the Federalist Party Businesses.

Ahem...promotion...

I have continued to serve in both of these roles to this day under the merged position of Federalist Party Vice President and have overseen the expansion of the FOP to include 6 District Representatives and over 20 Precinct Captains. These FOP Staff members are no longer links in a phone tree for party leadership but rather make up the 'Federal' system of the Federalist Party. By working with their Precinct Captains, District Representatives and the Federalist Party districts they represent decide who will be elected to congress and which businesses the party will participate in. They also mobilize the vote for Country and Party President primaries and elections and truly are the grassroots of the Federalist Party.

I have also overseen the expansion of the Federalist Party Organization to ensure that Federalist Party members have well-paid employment and that the Federalist Party is able to afford to give steep discounts on gifts, weapons, and moving tickets in times of increased demand and inflated prices.

Over the past few weeks, the current Federalist Party President, Captain Panther has entrusted me with the day to day functioning of the party as his Vice President while he has been busy with 'Real Life'. In that time, I have worked closely with the Media and Marketing Director, Kara Beth, the Political Director, CrashNBurn, and the PR Director, eliwood_sain to keep the party running smoothly. We have run a primary for Country President and assisted the victorious election campaign of Gaius Julius, started a 'Grab Bag' fundraiser, and expanded the party in membership and businesses.

Second most awesome job? Leading Feds!

I look forward to continuing the Federalist Party's inexorable ascent, and I hope the dedicated and active eUS citizens making up the Federalist Party will see fit to elect me their President.

Gaius Julius Elected President
Following a contested election between incumbent Country President Gaius Julius and challenger Woxan, Gaius Julius won a clear victory with over 62% of an exceptionally high turnout. Over 4200 votes were tallied compared to a meager 3500 in the last national election.

Very long lines at the polls.

Though Gaius Julius was a clear favorite from the time polls opened at server reset, the election was not without its share of surprises. Part of the way through election day, eUS citizens and eRep citizens around the world were stunned to discover that the eUS had launched attacks on Mexico, Portugal, France, and the UK. Thanks to the quick action of members of the administration, Gaius Julius was contacted and it was confirmed that his account had been hacked.

The perpetrator was not identified. Suspicious characters like this one have been brought in for questioning.

The situation was immediately reported, and thanks to the connections of our allies the adminstration was put in touch with admin directly. Admin was able to resolve the situation and close the open wars and MPPs that had been activated by the hacker attacks. Following a temporary suspension while the situation was resolved, Country President Gaius Julius has now been sworn in and is continuing his dedicated service to the nation.

All is well.

Appointed Ambassador to ePoland
After filling out the application on the eUS Forum to become an official state department ambassador, I received a PM from Secretary of State and Director of Ambassadorial Affairs, Wade Seagrave, informing me that I have been appointed the ambassador from the eUS to ePoland. I am honored and privileged by this appointment and I shall endeavor to serve the people of the eUS and ePoland with honor.

Poland, FTW!

I have contacted the Country President of ePoland as well as the Party Presidents of the top 5 parties. I have joined the ePolish IRC channel and the ePolish forums and introduced myself to the ePolish people. I have also published an article in the Polish Media expressing my eagerness to do whatever I can to improve the relations between our two countries.

I have some excellent plans for economic development.

I have been flattered by the warm reception I have received from every ePolish citizen I have spoken with. I am also grateful for their efforts on my behalf to promote my introductory newspaper article and garner sufficient votes to enter their top 5 media. I can only hope that my continued service to the ePolish people can justify the drama of my entrance.
