What is a Precinct Captain?
Precinct Captains are the most important members of the Federalist Outreach Program. While the Director and the District Representatives are responsible for relaying messages to each other and for ensuring the FOP is properly staffed, the PCs are the members of the FOP actually responsible for working with other Federalist Party members.
Mentorship
When first joining the Federalist Party, a new party member should be assigned as soon as possible to a precinct. From that point, if a party member ever needs anything from the party or has any questions about eRepublik, they should feel comfortable asking their PC.
Communication
PCs are also responsible for relaying a link to the FOP daily dispatch to all members of their precincts each day. This dispatch is the backbone of the Federalist Party and is what enables us to coordinate our actions on an eGlobal scale.
Citizen Education
The FOP is also a very important part of the citizen education and retention efforts of the eUS. The FOP is tasked with monitoring the player rankings for new players, working with them to achieve high levels of wellness and readiness, and involving them in the eRepublik experience beyond 'two-clicking'.
PCs are the face of this effort and are responsible for monitoring new citizens in their care and placing them in their precinct should they choose to join the Federalist Party.
What do I have to do?
To be a Precinct Captain, all you have to do is sign up on the FOP Staffing thread. Post your in game profile and a District Representative will contact you about working with their district. They will then walk you through the rest of the FOP Operating Procedures.
Duties
While most of the post is certainly a tl;dr wall of text, the important thing to take away from it is that there is a daily FOP dispatch that is posted to this forum at 1700eRep time. Your District Representative will send you a PM reminder in game, but Precinct Captains are responsible for relaying the daily FOP dispatch to their precincts and are asked to sign the dispatch thread once they have done so each day.
PCs are also responsible for assisting their district with mentoring. Each district is responsible for a number of eUS regions, which are divided up amongst PCs. PCs should check the player rankings in their assigned regions for new players and offer to answer any questions, as well as provide a link to the Federalist Party Forums as a good source of information.
HELP!
As a Precinct Captain, you aren't expected to know everything. Your District Representative, the FOP Director, and the other departments of the party are ready and eager to assist you with anything you need help with. If a member of your precinct needs assistance with something and you don't know what to do or are unable to do anything yourself, ask your DR or the FOP Director. They will make sure that you are put in touch with the proper party department and that your precinct members' concerns are addressed.
Time
Being a Precinct Captain is one of the least time consuming duties in the party. Thanks to the Mass Mailer and the Forum Rosters maintained by each district, Precinct Captains will always have quick and easy access to the names of the party members in their precincts, and sending the links to the daily FOP dispatch using the mailer takes less than 5 minutes. PCs aren't expected to solve their precinct's problems, only to connect members to other parts of the party who are.
Social Strategy
eRepublik is a social strategy game. While you can save up a little bit of cash and G by clicking 'Work' and 'Train' every day, in order to advance in politics and the military, you must work with a team. The FOP precinct is one of the many teams that you can be a part of in eRepublik, and being a Precinct Captain is the chance to lead that team to success.

Being a PC is possibly the best way to get noticed by Party Leadership! If you want to get involved with the feds, there's no better way to go than FOP.
