So apparently the word on the street is some of our Turkish brethren are attempting a PTO (that's 'Political Take Over' for the new lot) attempt of sorts - using vote buying, multis, selling CS and the usual low-life tools that PTO-ers usually resort to because their mama does not love them enough.

Firstly, let me just say ....



India is the MOTHER of ATO's, b****! We have seen off PTO attempts from Iranians, Serbians, Hungarians and even Channers (who, till they tried us, had a 100% PTO record), fighting off multi's greater than 500 at one time. So, if you think this is an easy nation to take, I say, BRING IT!

For my eIndian brothers, if you don't have an idea of what's going on, do read this 'cautionary tale', though this is only a partial picture. Especially for Congress, its most vital that they stick to the Rules & Regulations set in place for the security of our nation. Needless to say, do NOT get swayed by the offers of weapons/INR. There are some ideas being thrown about, and the ATO shall get more organized in the days to come. Whether this threat turns out to be a long term battle or (hopefully) gets nipped in the bud is yet to be seen, but do keep your eyes and ears open.


Now coming to the Hot topic: Bulgaria.

It is no secret that Bulgarians are, simply put, our brothers. We've had great allies over time, those that have stood by us though crisis and with whom we've done the same, China being foremost, along with Cromania, Ireland and others. But our bond with Bulgaria has - within a quite short period of time - developed more than any other; to some the reasons may be inexplicable and for those who think only damage counts, they might not even get our relation - but for us, it all boils down to Respect. They have accorded us more respect than any other nation yet & to me, that counts more than anything else ever will.

I have been honored to have made first contact with them, so to speak, as MoFA during David's term, when they approached us to rent three of our regions (for 450g a month!). Even though it was a short lived deal, due to Admin's changes, our association carried over time and has blossomed into a friendship we should & will never discard, no matter what.

Plus, man, can they go all out for their allies!!


Bulgarian Support troops ... Killing it with awesome!

The past few weeks have been a tough situation for India. We have a long history with EDEN; many a good time, some rough patches; but we've endured with them, stood by them when they were down, and over time, they have supported us in more ways than one (get the pun?). Which is why the whole fiasco with Bulgaria, has been such a disappointment to me. I had so so much more faith in HQ - the very people who changed EDEN's fortunes just a few days back, from being down and out to becoming top dogs once again.

Many parties were at fault in the entire matter; Turkey with their self-centered agendas, Bulgaria with their stubbornness to some extent & later resorting to demanding resources out of this 'deal' & using different 'reasons' for wanting to exclude Turkey at different points, thus portraying themselves as selfish, something I know they are not. But to me, none have failed more so than HQ - for being simply terrible at finding a diplomatic solution to the problem, and trying to push things under the rug for 4 solid months! Each person is entitled to their opinion, and I won't get into any more arguments about who did what; but HQ should most definitely have handled the situation better. As I've always said, believed and well, somewhat proved, there is ALWAYS a diplomatic solution to EVERY problem.

In any case, its all in the past now. I hope there are some people taking lessons from the mistakes made and working to rectify them in the near / distant future - for the sake of the Brotherhood itself. What matters for India is what direction Bulgaria takes in the near future and how that affects our equation with EDEN. At the moment, they have turned pro-ONE, which, to be fair to them, is logical, but for India: I don't think its an option. ONE have not been kind to us, EVER. Their members have fought against us, helped wipe us more than once & tried for months on end to PTO us.

So anyone who might think we're turning pro-ONE ...


Keeping all this in mind & I can imagine its a lot to take into consideration, to me it all boils down to original regions. Of course this is just my own stand and its up to the Indian Government what stance they choose, keeping EDEN Charters in mind as well. But I know many in India will support this and mostly follow this 'policy'. I am not much of a soldier, but I will fight to the best of my abilities and resources to defend Bulgaria's original regions & otherwise fight ONLY against Turkey, but I will NOT support ONE's agendas. This conflict has been a godsend for ONE opportunists and unfortunately EDEN has played into their hands. We won't be indulging them.

I hear talk of Turkey wanting to come to India, which seems unlikely given the current map, but one never knows how things turn out. I have faith in China to watch our back. If the situations turn out against us at any point, we shall have to seriously review our entire Foreign Policy I suppose, but for now, however tricky and delicate the situation is, we ARE dedicated to GEA and we ARE Bulgaria's brothers.

Deal with it.
