Military Maneuvers
Rhone Alps attack by Slovenia; Fins attack Russia; Brazil beats back Aussies

-Last night Croatia attacked Slovenia to try to prevent them from land-swapping across Italy to attack the key Polish-held, natively French, region of the Rhone Alps. Hungary, in turn, attacked a home region of Croatia to initiative-lock them. Slovenia could then safely retreat their region under Croatian attack, thereby freeing them to swap across Italy to Piedmont--which they did. They then promptly attacked Poland's Rhone Alps, whose massive wall started at 1 million. It also cost them a staggering 1800 gold just to attack, on top of the estimated 4000 gold they spent tanking in South Africa. Wowzers. Keep track of the battle here.

-Presumably at least partially to draw off Phoenix damage, Finland attacked Russia. This is a semi-crazy move given the fact that they activated Russia's MPPs by doing so, but I admire their bravery. Along with the Fins attacking, a large number of resistance wars began to also siphon off damage--too many to list.

-Australia couldn't hold onto natively South-African KwaZulu Natal as Brazil took the region.

-Indonesia attacked Mindanao, Malaysia. It's so cute how they keep trying to conquer things.

Politics
PigInZen airs gripes about EDEN; Public responds to PiZ; Congressional Peer Reviews are out

-In what's been hard-to-miss event today, President PigInZen wrote this article railing against EDEN's recent actions and leadership. The most recent example that inspired him to write this article is the perceived lack of EDEN support in the Limpopo resistance war that failed yesterday. I have to say that the indifference shown towards a friendly country that will have *3* high-Titanium regions in V2 is pretty staggering.

Reactions to PigInZen's article:
Former President Gaius Julius says he'll do everything he can to restore the alliance to what EDEN used to be.

Former President Jewitt says he supports PigInZen.

Former President Josh Frost supports PigInZen as well.

Meanwhile, former President Emerick called the idea "the stupidest" in an article that was shortly thereafter taken down.

Former Vice-President Woxan expresses a desire for caution.

Oh, and Jimmy Olsen says I told you so.

-Congressional Peer Reviews are out. I'm flattered at the love my peers have shown me. Congratulations to Eugene Harlot and Max McFarland 2 for winning the public and peer Congressional Medal for best Congressman respectively. Also, thank you Dr. Tango for running the poll.

-The Federalist Party offers a brief explanation of how Congressional elections work. Check it out if you have any questions.
