Phoenix suppresses resistance in South Africa

After a failed attempt to liberate the South African region of Limpopo in a sole fight against Phoenix, Eden decided to try again and divert Phoenix’s defences by launching a total of 5 fights for them to defend. This tactic was proven to be more efficient than attacking just one region, but ultimately Phoenix remained in control of 3 of the 4 regions attacked, most important of them being Limpopo where the actual fighting also concentrated.

Eden begun with a strong start as significant amounts of Allied soldiers flocked in to Argentina and teared the defences of Limpopo in the first hour of the battle from the initial 210,000 to -400.000. The battle favored Eden with solid numbers way past the 12h mark, but in a late night retrieving effort the forces of Phoenix managed to retain the wall to it’s original numbers leaving the outcome to be decided yet again by the tanks fighting at the very last minute.

The battle will be remembered firstly as a fight where the servers kept up with the pace of the players, and no significant lag or server crash managed to ruin the last minutes of the battle. Eden pulled the wall slightly between the secure and conquer lines after the inital 24 hours of the battle were fought, and the battle resumed for a total of 20 minutes overtime, which rarely happens these days. Eden pulled the wall as low as rural area, but ultimately Phoenix with a significant tank rush managed to seal the battle’s outcome to be a decisive Phoenix victory.

Clock is ticking, favoring Phoenix as Eden has failed to liberate parts of South Africa before congressional elections are held, and this will have serious effects to the future of South Africa. Without a congress, anyone can acquire a South African citizenship, making it easy to politically take over the country and control it for an undefinite amount of time much like Poland has practiced shadow governing in Peru for several months now. Eden does still have a chance of liberating parts of South Africa before the final congressional elects are decided, on the 23. of March. This however means South Africa must have at least 1 liberated region before 00:00 eRepublik time on day 855, giving Eden 34 hours at the time this article was written. There is time to start a succesful RW, and Eden might have a possibility to ninja tank a region for South Africa as Phoenix is likely totally bound to monitor the European front tomorrow.

Depending on the source, either Eden or Phoenix spent more Gold in to the battle for Limpopo, but both used way over 4000 Gold for tanks. This makes the battle an extremely expensive one and it might have effects on tomorrows battles in Europe and other parts of the World. Anyways it was a great battle and I am happy I could be a part of it.

Europe explodes as Hungary attacks Croatia, Slovenia attacks Rhone Alps and Finland attacks Russia.

The current situation in Europe is better explained in my previous article, but basically Europe has been gearing up in these past days for significant military action to be taken in Western Europe, the climax going to occur in the Polish fortress region of Rhone Alps, and Poland, activating a powerful set of MPP😒 during the failed invasion of Slovenia, has been preparing for days for a Phoenix assault on their key region, a colony containing wood situated in Southern France.
Phoenix has carried out extensive tactical manouvers in Central Europe, and they have now succeeded resulting in an attack on Rhone Alps. Hungary, using their open war with Austria has nearly eliminated the nation controlled by a Eden puppet and therefore closing the way from Poland to continue their attacks against Slovenia. Italy, a member of the Entente declared war on Slovenia in order to carry out land swaps which was later prevented by Croatia as they repeatedly attacked Slovenian original regions. Phoenix countered tonight as Hungary attacked North West Croatia, a region Croatia can not retreat due to it’s importance, and bound Croatia to a 24h block. After this Slovenia retreated and gave Croatia temporarily the region of Styria and Carinthia. After this Italy attacked Slovenia, cancelling their MPP😒 and gave Slovenia the initiative. Slovenia quickly land swapped through Northern Italy and attacked Piedmont, a border region of Rhone Alps. Phoenix kept the world in excitement for two hours until finally retreated Piedmont and gave Slovenia a clear route to attack Rhone Alps.

Poland has been stacking up population to Rhone Alps for several weeks and the initial wall is over 1 million. Add the fact that Poland is in the top three of the most powerful countries in the world, if not yet the most powerful, and the significant Allied aid coming to Poland to help them in their try to defend their only source of High Wood, and we have a truly epic battle to watch for the next 24 hours.

Finland goes ballistic – attacks Mother Russia.

In the aftershocks of the starting of Rhone Alps, a small Eden nation far North, Finland, has decided to take use of their MPP😒 activated by Russia 15 days ago and has attacked both border regions of Leningrad Oblast and Northern Russia, activating a frightful list of 21 MPP😒 in the process. Little is known from the actual motive behind this move, as the president of Finland promised to revive Finland by executing direct military actions, but is this a crusade of Finland or a tactic act to suck Phoenix😒 damage from Rhone Alps is yet to be seen. Finland has some powerful MPP😒 with them, including the United States, which could mean an exciting and lengthful war, specially if Russia decides to counter and launch more Finnish MPP😒.

This unexpected move might imply there are more surprises coming from Eden or Phoenix during the nail-biting 24 hours of warfaring in Rhone Alps.

Several RW😒 started in key regions.

In order to draw out damage from Phoenix/Eden and possibly create situations where there is easy to ninja tank some necessary regions for a better future, a dozen RW😒 have been started in several hot spots of the World. In Southern Africa, resistance breaks out in the regions of Northern Cape, Gauteng and Eastern Cape. This is the last chance for Eden to liberate parts of South Africa in order to have a succesful congressional election and drive out the PTO:ers, as stated above.
Phoenix has started two RW😒 in Extremadura, a Polish region in the middle of Spain, and Midi-Pyrenees, also a Polish region. Spain quickly responded by attacking three regions, which where all later retreated by Poland to ease the burden of possible new sham RW😒.
In Asia, RW😒 have been started in Inner Mongolia, the notorious region of Sindh and Jilin, controlled by Russia.
