Since Congress was issued with an Executive Order to declare war upon France (brought to you by the Executive Order Action League), I have been working diligently to adapt my platform to the new reality which besets us. What we have done is NOT to be taken lightly. Yes it will be fun. Getting our posteriors handed to us on a silver platter last summer was also fun - but we lost 1500-2000 citizens in the process. Many died because they did not know how to adapt to residing in occupied territory. Many more died awaiting Canadian Citizenship after the Citizenship Module came into effect. We lost thousands of gold worth in Infrastructure. Some Canadians even decided to betray their nation and instead saw fit to side with the invaders...war can do funny things to people.



Some will laugh, others will need an explanation

Some of them are back in Canada - some are even in Congress. They have reaffirmed their loyalty to Canada, and I will take them at their oath - we are a forgiving society and must rally together to fight this war which has been commanded of us by EDN. I say 'EDN' instead of EDEN because in the almost YEAR since EDEN reinvented itself from the imploded ATLANTIS Alliance we still have seen nothing representative of an economic strategy other than us giving gold to EDEN Elite soldiers to tank with and putting our nation at risk for their Euro-centric priorities - a HUGE factor in the USA withdrawing from the Alliance.

You will recall the fervor I created in inciting Operation Tea Bag. Jacobi was our Prime Minister then and followed EDN's diktat and declared war upon the UK only to have EDN High Command abandon us at the door step of victory (London). Still - we follow. We have traveled down a road most eerily reminiscent of the preclusion to our national collapse almost a year ago. At a time of political infighting and opportunism we have been herded into the bidding of our masters - EDN.



We can haz into warz...without any plan of how to get out of them

In case you have not figured it out yet, I am not a fan of this war. It was launched with a subatomic degree of information and was forced upon Congress - many of whom were not around for the dance when this song played last time. We are ill prepared, our markets are not in a war time posture and the cost of fighting with 5 Q1 weapons AND feeding yourself is over 30 CAD per day. Still we rush in. Despite this - I will pledge to do my very best to guide our nation thru this war without burning the house down.





Now, there has been no shortage of consternation over the prospect of renting one of our &quot😉ouble Titanium". I have been called a traitor and a whore for my past position lauding the mechanical advantages in doing so. I asked Congress to hold a vote whereby we could determine which region Canada would NEVER permit to be open for rent. While 75% of Congress chose to abstain in this MOST VITAL vote, the ones who DID vote elected to retain Nunavut as the region we would NEVER permit that we part with (I have acquired Speaker and CP clearance to disclose this information to you).


HOWEVER, in light of Rhone Alps being RWd, Hello Kitty being RWd, the allure of being able to rent out NWT is nil. It is no longer feasible to consider this option and even if we did - it would be a darn hard sell seeing as the ability to hold such a region would be "hellish to defend", as Harrison Richardson put it on the eUS Forums regarding such an option. I tend to agree. This being said, I have abandoned the notion of considering this region up for rent. It is not practical and the only ally I would consider renting it to (USA) would NOT be able to defend it. Anytime there would be a battle in which Phoenix wanted to re-direct US damage from, all they would have to do is initiate a Resistance War in NWT. This would significantly inhibit the USA's ability to contribute to the ongoing World War - and I will not have that liability in exchange for a few hundred gold in Canada's coffers per month.

TL😉R - I will NOT rent NWT.


Moving on... I will say this - I am supremely disappointed and dismayed with certain people who have seen it necessary to take it upon themselves to attack me. I am even more disappointed in fram/nea milosu's silence on this matter. Of course, he stands to benefit from his friends attacking my citizen - but not my platform - which says A LOT.

Argumentum ad hominem: Ad hominem abusive usually involves insulting or belittling one's opponent, but can also involve pointing out factual but ostensible character flaws or actions which are irrelevant to the opponent's argument. This tactic is logically fallacious because insults and even true negative facts about the opponent's personal character have nothing to do with the logical merits of the opponent's arguments or assertions.



Look what you did to Bongo fram/nea milosu!


Even though fram/nea milosu has secured the nominations of his own DAL - a party which lost over 50 members during his Party Presidency (we all know how that occurred now, don't we;), the Union Nationale, and the "EPIC" party (by a most EPICally democratic vote of 9 out of a party of over 200) and a host of tiny parties to help win over the "2-Clicker Vote" his backers have seen fit to launch this most vile campaign of negativity at me - even though we are AT WAR!!!1!

I will confess - I am NOT the best politician. I do NOT have everyone's Party President on speed dial. Why? I don't run for Prime Minister EVERY MONTH FOR OVER A YEAR. I see the dawn of V2 approaching and desire to make my beloved Canada the VERY BEST it can be in preparation for it. I do not have a perpetual thirst for being Prime Minister. To be honest, I am suspicious of people who constantly run every month...month after month.

Enough about that. I already feel sick letting myself slip like that. Let's analyze fram/nea milosu's (will you pick a name already!) master plan. We still haven't seen his Cabinet and it's the day before the election already!

From his master plan:

1) Strength in numbers
2) Highly trained soldiers
3) Communication

You should add "supply" to that list. Lack of supply is what caused dozens if not hundreds of Reserves to find military life elsewhere, be it in the Crimson Order, the Praetors, or any number of private armies. He says that he will personally ensure that the CAF will recruit all the 2-clickers. Not even the DAL can organize all it's 2-clickers. NOBODY CAN.

Moving on - and this is the funny part:

"Three months ago I proposed a reform that was never heard of and that no other Prime Minister ever dared to talk about. I propose that we help our top tanks fund their training and increase their damage. I proposed that in exchange for working at the crown companies we would pay the full cost of training... Some of you may think that this program would cost a lot but I beg to argue with you...I would estimate that with them working for the crown companies the total cost of their training would rise to about 20 Gold per week."

Firstly, this is NOT some revolutionary, brilliant idea like wireless electricity.
The USA has been doing this for MONTHS. It has proven to be highly controversial - there are arguments over who gets TAX PAYER gold to train with Napoleon. It usually ended up being friends of the POTUS or friends of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It is incredibly expensive too, especially for an economy of Canada's size.

Framosu's estimates of 20 gold are either intentionally misleading or his math skills are FAIL.

If he trains even 10 people - as he says - using Napoleon, that ads up to 12.6 gold per 'tank', per week. Multiply that by 10 'tanks' and you have 126 gold per week. Multiply that by 4 weeks and you get 504 gold - for TEN people!

That is NOT responsible usage of Canadian's taxpayer dollars, especially NOT in a war.
Furthermore, he opines that these - and many other CAF soldiers will work at new CAF Companies. CAF soldiers make up a significant portion of Canada's workforce (which hovers around 3200 at any given time). Framosu wants to strip the private sector of some of the most productive workers at a time that wages are already SKY HIGH and workers are severely lacking. This in a time of war when we need all the workers we can get to produce the means to provide private Citizens the tools to fight every day - WITH weapons! If this is a war for the Citizens of Canada, then we need to make sure they can bloody well fight!

He then continues to talk about such cliches as "Transparency and Accountability", assuming we have forgotten that he is already the deputy Prime Minister and can be as transparent and accountable as he sees fit - already! If there is so much wrong with the way government is run - isn't he responsible for some of the blame?

Next he wants to institutionalize the English/French communities with a "Liaison to the french community". This post is formerly known as "The Office of Official Languages" and it usually goes to an influential Quebecois citizen so he can translate the PM's speeches for him. It's an insult to the Quebecois community to think that they need to be taken by the hand and "liaised".
I have no problem using Google translator - I do it all the time in Congress - and there is NO problem in communications between the "strong and roughed English community and the power full and romantic French community."

Framosu continues on: "Then I ask you, what would you say to a government so transparent that you would practically be able to track each and every penny it spends." This is done perfectly by Addy Lawrence, the CPF Party President and the BEST Minister of Finance this country has EVER had!
There is NOTHING that Framosu can do to make this better - this is a platitude.

Framosu then continues to talk about increasing the VAT's. This is something I have tried to get done for MONTHS in Congress. It is his own party - the DAL who blocks these motions constantly! Not only that, but Framosu was NOWHERE to be found during these debates. If I had known he was so in favour of VATs I would of called him to Congress where he may participate in debates. No such luck.

As soon as Derek Harland issued the Executive Order to Congress to declare war upon France, Addy Lawrence and I converged upon Congress to DO JUST THIS. We have already completed the debates and initiated these measures in Congress. Framosu's platform came out AFTER these measures were already put into motion and doesn't even realize it - because he never bothered to participate in the debate as a Congressmen - he was out trying to get his endorsements lined up for the election!

The rest of his platform talks bout Market License exchanges - which AGAIN Addy Lawrence and I (mostly Addy) have already been working on for weeks with Croatia, Greece and others. the UNION Nationale knows this because they were approached to receive iron licenses from Greece in exchange for Diamond licenses from Canada. Old news, nothing revolutionary.

I don't even have to talk anymore about his plan. It's half plagiarized and half dramatically out of date.



Framosu...right about now...


Let us talk about 504 gold for a moment - the 504 gold that Framosu says he'll use to give away to 10 citizens so they can sleep with Lana every night. I was speaking with my Chief of Staff yesterday - Treian about creating Q3 Companies for each of the Top 4 Parties when V2 arrives. I argued that it would be a great method of creating camaraderie on the battlefield by having each of the Top 4 parties specialize in one specific V2 weapon - Rifles, AA Artillery, Tanks and Helicopters. Each of the Top 4 parties would select a unique profession and be granted such a company to produce arms with for the membership. This would go a long way to repairing and building the political relationships in game.

Imagine you are a DAL Rifleman platoon and you see a French Tank division coming your way.
You think - "crap..we're gonna get toasted". Suddenly you hear Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries on loud speaker and look up to see a Wing of CPF Helicopters flying in over the treeline. You are saved by not only your countrymen - but by your political friend!

Each of the Top 4 parties will be given the time to decide which of the 4 weapons types you will specialize in before V2 arrives. Should V2 arrive during my Presidency and you haven't decided - then I will decide for you. I have chosen the Top 4 only - and Treian agrees - because we cannot risk the chance that a desperate 5th place Party President, upon seeing his/her party about to be bumped run off with the company and leave his party high and dry.

Another program I will pursue with Addy Lawrence is expanding the Canadian Bond program to include fellow Allied Nations. I call it the "Bro Bond Program". Canada has the MOST reputable, reliable bond program in ALL of eRepublik and we look forward to increasing YOUR Government revenues to continue a sustained war effort by raising funds in this manner.

These programs will help pay for budget expansions for the CAF, TCO, Praetors and SHIELD.
All will be able to increase Canada's overall damage output!

- Former Minister of Immigration (during WWIII)

- Recipient of the Companion of the Order of Canada (highest civilian honour) for repatriating hundreds of Canadians stuck behind enemy lines in WWIII
