Do you have one that does independent page views? This one looks like it counts someone who just refreshes the page a lot (the problem with the one in Beta).
There is some degree of protection against view spamming (just refreshing the page won't work)
There isn't any foolproof way though, and anyone clever enough will be able to figure out how to do it
I keep on getting a fatal error.

Fact: It doesn't need to be foolproof. It's useful to know how many people saw your article and get a picture of how many of them liked it through the votes. Nobody would need to cheat on the views of their article, as it's not important for the game.
Question: It counts per referrer page and stores on your server, right?
Idea: Change the code to be a link to this article. The arrow on the picture makes people want to click it anyway, so this would help them know how to use it themselves
For others, that would be:

Note: change { and } to < and >

Looks to me like it only counts direct clicks to that article made by clicking on the "view" icon, and not visits to your newspaper in general. How do you have 326 votes for this article and only 54 views?
Great idea in concept. Maybe I'm just stupid here, but it doesn't look accurate to me, yet.
I'm curious why most of the places I'm seeing this in have more votes than views. O_o

how could this article be at 286 views, but 381 votes. How can more people have voted about this article than people who have viewed the article. THIS is awesome thought...
How is it possible that it have 316 views and 385 votes? Those numbers should be the other way around....
The counts had to be reset when I updated it

Having stats about actual 'addresses' is GREAT/interesting, but I feel that ACCURATE "hits/views counting" is (at this time)IMPOSSIBLE. Still, I, STRONGLY, support efforts to attempt it.
