Now that we've taken care of that...
As the April Session of Congress draws to a close, I would like to provide you with a SUMMARY of what transpired over this time. If you REALLY care about your Congress, you should bring yourself up to speed on the debates which shaped this term.
Moving ahead to the May Session, I'd like to tell you why I am running for re-election.
Unlike the 'Long Butter Knives', I can tell you why I am running.
30% of Congressmen actually show up to Congress.
That alone is 20% too many.
I can only imagine the logjam that would transpire if every Congressman
actually showed up, as the 'Long Butter Knives' claim to be able to do.
I bet they think that it's a den of 'yes men', where something is so by merit of 'rank'.
Either that or they have no intention of listening to those whom they represent,
namely - you.
I'm running in Ontario, but I won't represent just that region - I'm not a regionalist. You know how to get a hold of me if you want news on Congress, or have a private citizen initiative. My PM box is open to all - even Acacia Mason.
On a personal note -
GO CANUCKS GO!
Tyler F Durden's Congressional History
I have been a Canadian Congressman for seven months. I first ran on September 24th, 2009 with the Canadian Progressive Front. I was the Party President at that time, and would be for the next five months, spanning September into February. I have very seldom missed a vote 'In Game', and am never afraid to speak my mind in debates. Sometimes I have an abrasive side, it's who I am. Actually, the only time I can say that I missed 'In Game' votes was on my road trip thru the Western United States in February, and when I was Temporarily Banned during the Chucky Norris Impeachment Proposal, on Day 857. I have legislative proposals that have been enacted, such as the Iron Income Tax Bill and I will work to update this page regularly with more of your Canadian Congress information. I work to help bring lower priced goods to market - which means YOUR dollar goes farther.

It never started.

Who's mentioned a 'long sword'?
When it comes to a Promissory Estoppel, you can use it as a 'SHIELD' but not as a 'SWORD'.
Consequently, unless a legal relationship already exists between the parties, Canadian courts will not enforce gratuitous promise even if the representee has relied upon it.
go Canadian Congress!! w00t!
Good article! Up eCanada!
What else can tyler claim he did that he hasn't actually done?
Invented the shoe lace?
I use shoe laces! Thanks Tyler.
PEI is our capital, not our Capitol.
From Merriam-Webster:
"2 capitalized : the building in which the United States Congress meets at Washington"
Thanks salty, did the spelling police have
a problem with the other 517 words?
Also, WHERE does our Congress meet?
We don't have a Parliament, we have a Congress - like everyone else.

Tyler also invented Chinese soft noodles.
Although I hear he denies the existence of grapefruit.
