[PM] Do you Love me: The final dispatch

Day 776, 11:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Mr Woldy

The Final Dispatch.
Elections.
People to Thank.

Good Evening!

My time at the top has seen some ups and downs. Overall, however, I feel as though I am leaving office on a high. The time I've spent as Prime Minister has been enjoyable, and I have many thankyou's to hand out in the latter part of this article.

The past 3 months have seen a rise in activity, interest, fighting, and recruits. We've seen the abolishment of the Royal Guard, our stationary wing of the military. We've seen battles with Sweden, the USA, then more with Sweden, followed by us conquering Belgium, and then again in Sweden. (I don't like Sweden.) Overall, we've been somewhat kept on our toes. Taking an active parts in battles across the globe, the reliant navy and stalwart Special Forces being shipped off to far lands in order to help our allies. More recently we've been fighting in Germany, the UNL, and Heilonjiang (With good battle stats all round, considering our size).

On the foreign affairs front, the eUK was heavily involved in the creation of our new alliance, Phoenix. How I laughed when people began to catch onto the fact that PEACE was not once what it was, and that a new alliance was being made and thought the eUK wasn't involved. Congress voted to leave PEACE, and voted to join Phoenix, our new alliance.

On the domestic front, we've seen strong parties fluctuate in terms on voters and congressmen, we've seen the famous Winston, rise (slightly) then fall (drastically). We've had Frydays and awards being given out, and we've had military companies shanghai'd from under our noses. The past 3 months have seen quite a few people involved in cabinet, and they've all done a cracking job.

However, we mustn't shy from the objectives the next CP faces, wars in mainland europe and our allies territories being occupied means that we have to be giving it our all. I am confident that Phoenix will galvanise and expel the Polish demon from our friends homelands, and we must continue to play an active role on the international scene.

Election Time

I'm sure you'll be having withdrawal symptoms not being able to vote for me in tomorrow's elections, but there's a fair chance I'll end up running for Party President, Congress, or dare I say it Country President again in the future. Retirement sounds boring and I've forgotten to organise my ePension, so I have to kill time in a number of ways.

I'll be chipping in where needed, in Governments, Phoenix, the Navy and my Party. In writing this I've realised I'm waffling about myself rather than talking about the actual elections..

Dishmcds, a veteran of eRep is running with the UKRP banner, and intends to implement a few changes in our military, and to quote the slogan that appears when he runs in elections, 'Dish gets shit done'. On the other hand, Nice Guy Eddie (to quote his slogan, 'Hi Eddie') who is by all means a veteran of the eUK and it's military is running under TUP. I imagine the election will be quite close, and if you're wondering who I'm going to vote for, you can keep wondering, as I am not going to tell you. Because I haven't decided yet. Both have been very helpful tome over the past few months, and whoever wins is bound to do a good job.

You can view their manifestos here and here. I'll let you guess which one of those links is which.

If you're wondering, on the 5th of each month President Elections are held, if you are a high enough level you will be notified and given the choice of who to vote for.

I wanted something else to write about so I thought I'd list a few eUK'ers I'd thank. In no particular order;

RRNapier, Fezoj, and the navy. The navy and all of the people in it are awesome, RRN was one of my MoD's and proved fully capable, Fezoj has been CO of the navy for months now and has done a fantastic job.

Karacticus, your humour tickles my fancy.

Iain Keers, for being generally under appreciatted in the eUK, and writing consistently good articles.

Jan Baykara, and John Forseti. For being cool and supplying me with Avatars.

Horice, James Woosh and Pensive. Three more military people worth mentioning.

Digby, for t' Spam.

JamesW, for gifting Noobs a lot.

GGRyan and John Bartlett, for keeping on top of all that legislation.

BombadierBeetle and DilltheDog, for watching over our finances.

East Midlanders, like Danmoir. For keeping my region cool.

I could list all the others, and all the johnny-foreigners worth mentioning Like Donnie, Onrche Euphonix Burakkocamis and ThomasRED, but the list would be huge and you'd all get bored. But for now..

..Stay sassy, san diego.
