How to get involved in the eUK.

Day 615, 11:29 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

eRepublik

eRepublik, is a self proclaimed massive online social strategy game. Arguably the first of it's kind.

But what's the key word? Social. By working together, as a society should we can achieve far more then we could do otherwise. So how can you as an individual get involved in eRepublik? How can you contribute to the eUK?

The answer is, by using the forums. Many voices go unheard, and many people are uninvolved with the eUK, logging in to work, train, and occasionally fight. However, eRepublik is as good as you make it, and if you visit the forums, you will find a completely new aspect of the game.

Advice for newer Player's

A range of guides have been made to try and help new players just starting the game. At first the game may seem confusing, and people aren't really sure what is what. These few Guides help people start off;

What Can I do on the forums?

Many people do visit the forums, but immediately feel swamped and confused by all the different threads, I know I certainly did. There are a few key areas to focus on before expanding into the deepest corners of the forums, those being;

Public Discussion - Where the public can discuss Politics, issues with the eUK or other countries, problems or suggestions they think ought to be addressed. It's a great way to learn the basics of the game, and the eUK's politics.

General - anything really, general eRepublik thoughts and opinions, questions and predictions.

Regional - Where you can chat with people from your region, and discuss which direction you would like to see it go in. Many regions also run games threads, where prizes are available.

Not to mention, Party forums, where you can discuss party policies and get to know your fellow members better, Bob Boblo's House, where the Spamican make decisions on how to make the forums slightly more interesting, and job centre threads for people looking work or looking for workers.

The Military

Some people have no interest in Politics or the running of the country, they want to fight. The eUK currently has 4 branches of the Military, which you can apply for on the Hub. There are threads for the Military, such as mess halls and squad threads, where soldiers can put forward suggestions and have general fun.

The Royal Navy - The Main wing of the Military, anyone who can fight can join. Soldiers are shipped abroad to fight in battles for the UK, expenses covered.

The Royal Guard - The Stationary Wing of the Military, the RG stay at home and receive weapons when the UK is attacked. Primarily for politicians and presidents who cannot move abroad.

The RAF - Another Mobile wing, applicants have to have at least strength 8, and are also moved abroad to fight. When they proceed in strength and become familiar with the military, they can move into the SF.

The Special Forces - The best of the best, applicants must be above strength 12. The SF are sent in as heavy damage dealers, often swaying the course of battle.

interested? You can apply right now, on the hub. http://military.erepublik.co.uk/

Entertainment

Do you need something to do in eRepublik? Find it a bit boring?

As you can see from our past articles on entertainment in the eUK, various games and competitions are regularly ran, where you can take part and win prizes, which vary from cash sums to houses.

From Cricket to Quizzes to Raffles, it's all there, waiting for your participation.

IRC

The eUK has an IRC room, where you can come and chat to other eUK'ers, and people from all over the eWorld. To enter the room, you can go here. http://irc.erepublik.co.uk/

As you can see, getting involved in the eUK is easy. All it takes is that little bit extra, and it open you up to limitless possibilities.
