On the 5th of each month, it is up to us to vote for our CP (Country President). You may see many articles making promises and giving opinions. When it comes to voting, don't decide not too vote, or just to vote randomly. Read what people have to say and want to do, your opinion counts.
What does a president do?
I believe the President's most important job is that of a diplomatic role; The President decides on wether or not to invade regions, sign mutual protection pacts, or to start peace treaty's. As well as that, the President can decide which regions recieve a Hospital, where you can heal after fighting, and which regions may recieve a Defence System, which make the wall of a region stronger during a battle. Presidents can also propose trading embargoes, where our country cuts of trade with the target country.
A president also makes decisions on the economy, including the minimum wage, citizen fee, and wether or not taxes should be changed, or if transfers from the national treasury are made.
Congress
What the President say's doesn't always go. It is the job of congress to vote on proposals made to see if they are passed or not. As outlined in this article:

What is it good for?
The answer in e-Republic isn't absolutely nothing. War does have its advantages, gaining new regions is a topic on the lips of all politicians, some are opposed to it, some support it. I'm sure the candidates recognise the costs and resources that we have to be able to manage during a war, and will never mobilise the military without putting due consideration into it. I feel she is very dependable when it comes to our relationship's with other country's.
