[MoD] Victory Over Norway + Day 2154 Orders

Early today we wrapped up the campaign against Norway wiping them from the map. Their 10 billion-strength shield held us back and before launching the attack we calculated it would take 3 hits to break the shield (allowing them time for 2 attacks on the UK). These calculations proved to be correct. The way shields work it is impossible to protect them, but we did well to lose only around 1 billion in shield strength.

So lets look at the UK on the world map...

The UK holds 11/12 of the UK's original regions. Poland holds the other original UK region: Wales. This is because Poland is one of the UK's best (and strongest) allies and a deal was made with Poland to have a foothold in the UK, to protect the UK from US reprisal attacks. This being due to the assistance we provided to our allies against the USA.

The UK holds 3/6 Irish regions. A while ago the UK launched a war against Ireland wiping Ireland. Ireland fought back over time and a peace agreement was made. However these days no formal peace agreement exists. The UK and Ireland are at peace, but I always wonders for how long the population of both countries will be happy with this.

The UK holds one French region. Serbia controls the south coast of France, and Poland controls the rest - France is wiped. The UK gained this French region because France resistance-wared it back to them from Poland. However, the UK saw French intensions and declared war on France before they could attack the UK.

The UK holds one Norwegian region. Romania holds the rest of Norway and Norway is wiped. Norway regained this region from Romania once their MPPed war was over, and the UK saw an opportunity to take this region and that is what we did.

Fight smart

Damage done in a battle that doesn't need it is damage thrown away. If it is not needed there, fighting there only serves to waste your time and supplies. Try to fight in one of our priority battles which has the damage under 55%. Use your intelligence, if we have three open priorities, fight in the highest priority if it is needed. However if we are winning by a long way then push in a different priority.
