How ASGARD was formed & more information about ASGAR

When the alliance ONE collapsed, Sweden decided to make up a new alliance with Finland. They soon named the alliance ASGARD in mid-2012.
ASGARD has been known to have fought with ABC (the Alliance of Baltic Countries) which contained Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. ABC eventually merged with ACT.
Towards the end of the year, Norway decided to join ASGARD as a trial member. Along with Norway, Ireland and Canada had both shown interest in ASGARD. Ireland was turned down by the alliance over a feud with Sweden in 2012, but Canada was admitted as a trial member in early 2013.
Canada, however, has left ASGARD and is now in the alliance CoT.
My Opinion on ASGAR

As well as many other people, I find ASGARD dead and only alive in the three Scandinavian countries. ASGARD does not pose a military threat to the eUK whatsoever. However, this is only my opinion and many others may think otherwise.

These analysis articles are fun to read. An analysis of ROLA/CUA (do they still exist?) would be cool as well \o/
You forgot about Netherlands - they has shown the biggest interest to be in Asgard, but they has been rejected many times
The Netherlands' application has proceeded to vote-phase twice. First failed in Swedish congress, second in Finnish congress.
The game is dead, so it's not very surprising that we are dead too.

And you forgot about the Netherlands, they had the same issue as Ireland did sadly. Asgards shows no signs of wanting to expand and grow which will hold it back always but it was meant to be an alliance where smaller nations could make their own choices independent of the bigger ones. I think we all know unless the 3 countries of Asgard have a baby boom then the alliance will stay in the same boat its in now, but we cannot forget that one point Sweden conquered much of the eworld...

If they pose NO military threat to you then why do you occupy them?
My opinion has no connection with what the president of eUK wants to do, and what the president finds in the best interest. Like I said, this is only my opinion, and I have no true authority in making decisions like that.
As long as your fellow thugs in TWO continue to protect you, who does pose a threat?
It seems that TWO in general, and the UK in particular,feels threatened by the possibility of change.
Ireland never formally applied, though when inquiries were made, the Swedes objected.
