Just over a year ago, then-President Israel Stevens appointed a media noob as Secretary of Media. After two sad editions of the WHPR, three former Secretaries of Media seized control of the Official US Media, and the Media Revolution was born.
Over the next nine editions of WHPR, we kept up the role play with the nicknames, photos and stories from a bit of a Revolutionary angle, while Phoenix Quinn presented a series of fantastic parodies of the WHPR in his own newspaper.
Today we revive la Revolución de los Medios in both this and in Phoenix "el Profesor" Quinn's newspapers. We hope you'll enjoy this little trip back in time as much as we will, ourselves.

Victory! Yay! So what's next?
Hopefully an open and free POTUS election, no "Unity" and definitely no President Ajay. Cool.
October 15th we PTO this new sh*thole of an AFA. No sweat.
Then October 25th rolls around. Another extravagant mobilization.
Where's Waldo? Right friggin' here.
What can be done between now and then to reduce the AFA's numbers?
What can be done to make mobilization both more effective and less costly?
Which of the two frontrunner candidates has a plan.. a real plan?
Will The People be pushed and prodded like so many cattle, herded into this corral or that? And when we are-- because that's exactly what will happen-- will the national mobilization actually work? Will we beat Ajay/RGR by the numbers?
Yes, our next El Presidente faces more challenges than just the monthly national mobilization against the ever-present threat of Ajay/RGR.
Our nation is the leader among leaders of an alliance which has recently grown shaky. Our alliance needs to grow in both strength and numbers; we cannot go on as the unlikely underdogs of war.
Which candidate will lead America and all of CoT to recovery and growth?
Which candidate will bring strength and pride back to los Estados Unidos?
Even within our own borders, from the mountains in the west to the great cities in the east, we suffer division and dissent among ourselves.
The great experiment of an all-inclusive Consejo de Seguridad Nacional (NSC) is not a failure, but it is not yet a success.
Leadership calls for more media presence, but does not promote that media when the Departments do produce it.
We see a Dept of Defense newspaper languish with few votes and fewer Comments.
We see Cabinet Departments continue to scratch for competent help.
In short, we see The People not engaged, and leadership not leading them to become so.
Which candidate can bring about a redefinition of the word Unity, to unite the people and the nation, and move us all forward together?
Which candidate will listen to The People-- after over a year of failed "no-resources" policy, and return us to the 10/100 prosperity we once enjoyed?
But then... are the candidates really responsible to make America great?
Is a President a Grand Wizard who can just wave his magic wand.. or slide his magic card.. to just make sh*t happen for his country?
How much of the responsibility is ours?
How much of that responsibility is yours?

Generally, the populace of the United States falls into three categories.
The critics, the leaders, and the apathetics.
It’s easy to be a critic.
It’s easy to complain.
We all know that. The role of the critic is one easily fulfilled by even the simplest of minds. Poking holes in things, and standing on no ground to defend, requires very little effort in the long run. And we’re all tempted to do this right?
We can all see what’s wrong with eSociety these days.
We have fewer people than we need.
We have less political power as a result of that lack of population.
We have to do things that others may find immoral as a result of that lack of political power.
And when we do things that some find immoral, they lose faith in the government itself.

And that is what the critics attack. You see, the problem with people who decide to argue instead of contribute is that they make a fatal error. They will, at most times, attack the necessary action itself instead of the root cause of the necessary action.
Were Unity elections the best for Democracy? Probably not.
Should we stand by our ideals? Generally yes.
Today, I want to give you a choice. I want you to choose between decrying the effects of policy, or taking a stand against the root cause of our problems.
Today, I want you to be a leader.
Previously, I’ve been tasked with something called eNASA. eNASA is, for lack of a better term, our new player recruitment program. It is the sole possible way of dealing with the root cause of all our instability.
We are wiped because we have too few people.
We are dealing with ATO because we have too few people.
We have economic issues because we have too few people.
Over the course of the rest of the month, and the addition term if possible, we’re going to be implementing a number of programs meant to steadily increase our population by individualist recruitment, as well as supporting larger programs with the intent of pursuing a baby boom.
Such work is not easy. It is tedious, and it requires a large amount of people to be effective. We might not see a baby boom until months after your work has been completed. Yet for every person you bring to the New World under this program, we become stronger. Our problems become less powerful. And we, ultimately, take a step forward, instead of a step back.
Usually to sign up for these sorts of projects, you fill out a form or something. I’m not going to ask you to do that.

I must say, it feels good to get back into the swing of this with my revolutionary comrades! Time to bring our brand of mayhem to the newer players who missed this glorious uprising the last time! You all missed some mighty fine fun and writing … so I implore you to read back to how it all went down last time. Start … HERE.
Without further ado, I’ll stop my inner-monologue -
Yesterday, the results of the Congressional Elections came in and it was with absolute glee that the Insurgency in this fine nation was dealt what can only be described as a hugely crippling blow to its operations yesterday, when results showed they had only 3 confirmed bad guys in Congress. That’s a excellent drop from the 7 they had last month … why is this good? It inhibits their ability to import citizens from abroad!
Pizza/RGR is led away by revolutionaries, disgusted at his atrocities!
Bit of a throwback to memory lane... for those unaware, Pizza the Hutt was his original account moniker.
This is yet more proof of the culmination of not only attrition, but of you, the Revolutionary People tired of this insurgent crap, standing up and deciding you will not be cowed by the whims of a single man with the backing of underhanded masters. Without all the people who dedicated time and effort to sorting out plans, shepherding people, importing help from fellow allies, this might not have been possible at all, but we’re seeing the fruits of our labor!
The war is not finished yet, though. For the next 8 days, we have slight freedom as we can choose from a range of candidates running for PotUS instead of the limitations we had imposed upon us via “Unity.” But after that, we have to be strong yet again and continue taking the fight to their diseased parties, inflicted with malcontents and arrogant players who believe it is their right to take away your own!
After the 5th, brace yourself to take on what is wrong, steel your resolve and prep your boots. We’re taking our political scene back! We’ll march in the streets and we will shoot our weapons to the sky! It will be a gratifying overthrow of a demonic regime, and force them yet again to scuttle around like tiny little ants!

After managing to flee the Polish advance and subsequent conquering of South Carolina, I was able to tag along with a group of urban warfare specialists on their way to Kansas. I could see on their faces the anger, anguish, and defeat that has piled up over the recent losses against both Spain and Poland. I could just tell they had had enough and were looking for something to destroy.
I had drifted off to sleep during the overnight drive but was woken abruptly by what I have come to know as my wartime alarm clock, gun and mortar fire. We had arrived at the Kansas front. As I approached the US Command tent I was greeted with old coffee and a stale cigarette, which I respectfully declined. It was too early in the day to have anything but a stiff drink. Glancing at the Command map, I could see a column of troops on the move up from the Carolinas and Tennessee. Poland had already pushed well into Kentucky:
Bullets and RPGs have been whizzing by my head all day long, yet by now they seem as inconvenient as a mosquito or fly. I’m not sure if it is because of the constant and consistent barrage has dulled my senses, or the fiery Cuban rum that is coursing through my veins. Another small bomb was used mere moments ago, and I can almost pick up the faint scent of burnt sausage. I hadn’t looked at the Command map since late afternoon, but it looks like a few US divisions are making some headway by seizing bridgeheads outside of Nicholasville and Wilmor that had previously been held by the Poles. If we can keep up this momentum into the night and early morning hours, a victory in Kentucky is entirely possible.
Don’t forget to follow orders and fight smart. Disrupt the enemy whenever you can! Harass their supply lines, disrupt their communications! Drive back the Polish horde and remember… Your nation needs you!

This article was just all-around an en enjoyable read. You guys rock.
Anarchy's passage about "the critics, the leaders, and the apathetics" really made me think. I was realizing that, with respect to my real-life profession, I regularly hit all three of those states before my second morning coffee.
This was a great issue.
