News, Inc. Report: Shifts in the Race to the White House


What started out as a joke and a lulz campaign by former President Josh Frost and former President PigInZen has transformed into a legitimate attempt to regain the White House once more. Frost had originally released a list of his Cabinet earlier today, but it was deleted and his publishing rights were revoked; former President Colin Lantrip has released the list on Frost's behalf. The Cabinet list consists of many prominent Americans from over the past year-- former presidents Josh Frost, PigInZen, Woxan, St. Krems, Jewitt, and Colin Lantrip; former Vice President and all-around-awesome-guy ligtreb; former Speaker of the House Henry Arundel; and former Chief of Staff (mah current Deputy Chief of Staff), Commander of Seal Team Six, Speedcat McNasty.



As soon as the race turned serious, it began taking the White House by strom, easily taking over in the primary of the United States Workers Party. Frost is also running neck-and-neck with fellow candidate Cromstar in the Federalist Party primary. It is worth noting that Cromstar has done absolutely zero campaigning at this point and not made any type of formal posts or announcements on either the eUS Forums or the eUS Media.

Meanwhile, candidate CRoy has released an article on his proposed Gr8 Reformation and is showing no signs of standing down against the famous names the Frost/PiZ ticket. He has some ground support, and did a recent interview. He will be backed by the Libertarian Party and the United Independents Party.



In a surprising turn of events, candidate GLaDOS has dropped out of the race and is going inactive for a time. Prior to Frost/PiZ entering the election, GLaDOS/Haliman were expected to sweep the USWP primaries. His departure for the race leaves the campaign largely up to Josh Frost vs CRoy, with Cromstar being able to pose a challenge but, with absolutely no campaigning at this point in time, is at a severe disadvantage. It remains to be seen who SEES is endorsing at this point in time; rumors range from gagah to chickensguys to one of the current candidates.

EDITUPDATE: Apparently GLaDOS has un-quit and is now in the race again. I am incapable of having an up-to-date article this election. -.-



This race is now very much one between experience and nostalgia vs energetic youth and new ideas. The main criticisms levied against the Frost/PiZ ticket is that they are all old and stamping out new players, and that they aren't serious enough to lead the country. Yet, the old gang is full of highly experienced players whose entrance once more into politics seems to be reigniting activity, if only for the time being. The main criticisms levied againsy CRoy/Blank Keating is the inexperience of their ticket and concerns that they are unprepared to deal with running the country, engaging in foreign policy, and working on military matters; however, they have hit the ground running and have a type of energy and determination that is rare to see among eUS politicians lately.

It's certainly one of the more interesting races we've had in a long, long time. I've worked for everyone on the Frost/PiZ ticket at some point, have worked with CRoy and Blank for the past month, and hang out with oldsnork Cromstar on IRC a lot; they're all capable people, and none are out to destroy 'Murica. Chill out panicky folks; enjoy the spectacle. We have ourselves a rodeo!
