Livin' On The Eastside

Day 733, 10:32 Published in Japan United Kingdom by AltmerVampire

China|Japan|Indonesia and Australia|Israel and Turkey|Malaysia|India|North Korea|Malayisa|Congress in Hokkaido!
Why hello there.

Due to a few requests, this article will be detailing all the news from the East side of the world, meaning Asia, Australia etc, so, I hope you enjoy :3 This will be organized by country since we have a fair few things to go by, making this a long article most likely. So just use the links at the top if you’re in a rush, or only interested in certain countries. Oh, and at the end will be a something that could be viewed as a congressional manifesto for Hokkaido 😛

And an article concerning the West side of the world will be released soon enough too, so make sure to vote and subscribe this article if that interests you.

So, without further beating around the bush, lets get along with the show…

It seems unlikely the Great Wall will protect them from their old Cold War buddies

China

The Russians have invaded China, provoking much outrage, especially here in Japan, with President Dokomo releasing a statement announcing his intentions of standing alongside China, while hoping for a diplomatic resolution to the matter. How this will actually end for Japan is interesting, especially due to rumours not so long ago about how Russia would invade China while Indonesia would invade Japan. Only time shall tell I guess.

Japan

As many of you will know (saying this article is being published in Japan) the Japanese bank was robbed shortly after the presidential elections. Many accusations were thrown round as to the perpetrators of this thievery, with the main suspects being traditionally thieving Padraig_Pearse and long term ex-Japanese congressman, Walorm (who now lives in Singapore coincidentally).

Now, why you ask, would an Irishman get involved with the stealing of a Japanese bank? Apart from having a tradition of scamming people? Goodness knows, I just follow the media.

Indonesia and Australia

Indonesia have once again created stirs across the world. Their president (Wonder Forward) seems to be hellbent on creating controversy wherever he goes. Tis odd to be honest but quite amusing to watch.

Anyway, what he’s been up to recently. As you should hopefully know, Australia joined EDEN upon the reunification of their country from the Indonesian occupiers. Indonesia decided to leave them alone, they had built up bonds with the Australians over the months they had been having such close discussions over.

Now, as a spirit of this goodwill between their two nations, the Indonesians wanted to sign a Non Aggression Pact with the Aussies. However, they also wanted the Australians to reimburse the Indonesians on their companies that were in Western Australia. And then, the Australians had their bank stolen (which seems to be the latest trend across the world, to be honest…) meaning it was a tad difficult for the Australians to be able to pay the 3000 GOLD required to give Indonesia the estimate for reimbursement.

However, despite all the difficulties and the outrages from Australia (Senator for Victoria CrowdedHouse believed it to be blackmail) the Australians signed the NAP with 14 out of 17 voting yes.

So now a little bundle of love is snuggled up in the corner of the world. Ain’t that cute?

Israel and Turkey

Israel has been having an interesting time as of late, which is really quite a surprise. Recently their President JMatH was "hacked by his brother", resulting in the belief that he stole Israel’s treasury. Now this is all well and good, until he then invades Turkey. Now, I’m not sure if you know the history between Turkey and Israel, but long story short, the Israelis are much, much weaker than the Turks who had them occupied for a very long time.

Why did he attack Turkey? A mixture of boredom and the fact they were annoying him. Quite interesting stuff really. Anyway, the Israelis lost their battle hideously, were reinvaded by the Turks who then conquered Haifa. And something that won’t shock many of us, JmatH has been impeached.

So this now leaves us with why the Turks, despite wanting an NAP with Israel and knowing that the attack was a suicide charge, invaded Haifa. The answer can be found in this very article… Burakkocamis the ex-Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs claims it was to serve as a warning to the Israelis not to do it again, he then goes on to ask for both of their countries to be best friends. Now both countries are having training wars with each other, which is quite handy for both of them really.

However, shortly after this little statement, Israel began a Resistance War in Haifa, which they went on to win. How did they win? BattalGazi (or Onrche) became their Battle Hero. Why? Turkish politics seem to be incredibly divided at the moment, with many people unhappy about certain situations in the country. Only time shall tell how this will work out for the Turkish people.

Malaysia

It wasn’t all too long ago when Malaysia was the biggest story in the newspapers of most countries in the world. Indonesia, one of the world’s superpowers attacked poor, helpless Malaysia, for the lulz and to cut off all EDEN Training Wars. I personally was hugely against this Indonesian action (mainly because they were threatening PEACE nations war games too). But that’s beyond the point, eh?

Anywho, life is back to normal in Malaysia. The Indonesian attempt at conquest only succeeded in making Thailand a fully united nation again, along with hugely boosting the Malaysian economy. Indonesia found itself against 27 MPPs and Malaysia itself, along with other countries sending their mobile forces to assist. So, understandably, the Indonesians found their advance into Malaysia was stopped. Similar to a scooter driving into a rocket I suppose…

So now the Malaysians are fully back into the Training War industry, currently signing MPPs with Romania and Estonia to join in Sol’s wargames.

India

India haven’t been having the best of times recently, with several little things pecking at them as of late. To begin with, ex-Russian CP MoredanKantose (who I’ve mentioned in my previous articles for being opposed by half of Russia etc) has moved to India. Now this may not be a bad thing really, just amuses me. And it’s a piece of trivia for future e-generations.

On other news, the Indians recently had an unofficial resistance war in Madhya Pradesh against the Indonesians. This war was of course denounced by the Indian government, however many Indians moved to fight regardless.

India are sitting in and around the 1000 population mark at last, but the Indians are not celebrating this. Largely because they suspect at least 200 of these are Iranian multis (not official governmental ones admittedly). The country intends to unite to defeat this menace.

And finally, as I was browsing the Indian media the other day, I found a good article about what makes an alliance tick, from an old friend of mine.

North Korea

North Korea is having countless problems at the moment, largely the fact that they are currently being crushed in a war with Russia, the fact that their CP is a Russian PTOer.

But, Afanasiy Drago discusses something that he finds odd; The lack of articles in the North Korean media. He believes that due to the fact people would choose North Korea because of its Communist and nuclear tendencies, its media should be full of noobs trying to conquer the world. He then goes on to imply how admins have created false statistics (which, admittedly, they probably have). Either way, North Korea isn’t looking healthy.

Added to this, the Japanese aren’t happy with the situation, largely because a deal had been made apparently to bring North Korea back under Japanese control, giving them a larger population and a medium iron region. However, the Russians seem to be wanting a piece of North Korea, maybe they’ll retreat it for a Training War, maybe not. In a similar manner, the most recent North Korean resistance war has failed.

In other news, North Korea really does seem to have a major multi problem. Indeed, the damned multis are in Florida, so aren’t even helping out the economy. Shocking, eh?

Pakistan

Not a lot of news from the country that used to be top of the world. Pakistan has a dream, one that is very close to Martin Luther King’s actually… It does appear they wish to be a world power once again, to regain the respect and power they had back in Beta. It seems unlikely this will happen again, largely because it seems unlikely that Pakistan could have a babyboom, due to its RL circumstances. But Pakistan are cool enough that I wish them luck \o/

Congress in Hokkaido!

That’s right! I am running for congress here in Hokkaido under the SOS Brigade. We have only recently hit the Top 5, so congratulations to all our members and everyone who has helped us achieve this goal, especially our beloved Party President Faeyas, for the impossibly hard work she has put into the party.

So anyway, I am running under the SOS Brigade, to bring fun, excitement and activity to Japan! NAP have also given me permission to run under them as part of the SOS should we fall out of the Top 5 in the next couple of days so if you see me running for the National Alliance Party don’t be too shocked :3

So who am I?
I’m AV, a multiple time congressman (UK), an ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs (UK), an ex-commander of the UK’s military and a PEACE Emeritius. Why am I listing some of the positions? To show you that I am easily qualified to help Japan in these times. We are faced in an increasingly difficult international position. With PEACE facing hard times, and Indonesia becoming increasingly unpredictable the country needs people are know what they are doing, and know who to talk to for assistance.

I believe this is what easily qualifies me for Hokkaido's congress.

I am dedicated, helpful and friendly. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will assist you to the best of my ability.

Thanks for reading,
AV
