Presidential Elections: Before you vote.
Citizens of Ireland you will soon be going to vote for our next President. Before you vote it is recommended you read up on each candidates policies and plans for our nation. So for your reading pleasure here are the links to the key articles of this election:

What does a President do?
In game the President can propose the following:
- Message to new citizens: That PM from the Admin you got when you started is written by the Country President. It can be set to whatever he desires subject to Congress approval.
- Buy Hospitals/Defence Systems: The President can buy Hospitals and Defence Systems for any region in Ireland. Again subject to a vote in Congress.
- Alliances: The President can propose Alliances with other countries subject to votes in the congress of both countries involved.
- Declare War: The President can declare war on any of our neighbours (UK, USA and Canada) subject to a congress vote.
- Make Peace: The President can propose Peace Treaties with any country Ireland is at war with subject to a vote in both countries congresses.
- Trading Embargoes : The President can propose that industries in Ireland stop trading with another country subject to a congress vote.
- During War the President has complete control over the battles we enter or retreat from.
