It's been a week since the last edition of the Pony Express. There are two reasons for this.
:1: I've been putting together both the White House Press Room and the Pony Express newspapers with a lot less help than should be reasonably expected. Basically, I got tired and burnt, and something had to give. Both newspapers require a lot of effort to maintain the level of quality I demand of professional presentations from your White House, and the WHPR is priority, straight up.
:2: The US media is seriously lacking in the types of articles worthy of a boost in this newspaper. I find myself spotlighting the same writers' work over and over, seldom finding truly quality journalism, war analysis, funny stuff, etc., by new writers or established newspapers. This newspaper is supposed to be a tool, not the cure, toward helping revive the US media.
Additionally, "tracking the Pony Express riders" and adding bits of RL history to these publications has not been well enough received to continue that considerable added effort.
This newspaper will begin yet another metamorphosis in its manner of presentation, but not its mission statement. We will continue to recognize quality work in the media in hopes of inspiring all publishers to up their game. The Pony Express will continue as a service of the White House to the American people, hopefully growing and adapting to the environment and your needs.

I actually said something yesterday related. Using pics and especially pics of half naked women do not make an article. I can't say I haven't done it a couple times myself but I have stove to avoid doing it. An article is about writing and presenting what you wish to actually say and making it pleasing by pics and graphics are fine but in the end it is the real message not the fancy tricks. My 2 cents on the subject.
In my opinion, take Ajay's (Gen Cartman Lee) article out of the Pony Express.
The opinion of an Enemy of the State should not be in a government paper.

There is no laws against General Cartman lee, jackwagon.
Leave the article in. It's fair and balanced the way you have the Pony now. People may not like General Cartman, but I have no problem having all the candidates listed.
If he were to start writting for the Pony, then we might have issues. . .
