[NNA] The Nineteenth of June : A Week In Review

Day 2,768, 10:28 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by National Newspaper Association

Hello again before we begin we would like to make a public service announcement on behalf of the eUK Government.

Please do not accept anything which bares any resemblance to the above product from anyone who looks a bit Argentinian. We have been informed by reliable sources that said tins have been laced with apathy.

It's been a busy old week but again one man dominates the headlines. This being the case we have decided not to publicise any articles written by this man.

Click on any picture to take you somewhere...

We started the week with a continuation in Pannonian nomad's hairy fetish series. Strong stuff and not for the week of stomach.

We then found ourselves knee deep in Argentinians and the following articles give you a flavour of who these people are...

Jake and Mike take two differing looks on our South American squatters. Did you know they speak Welsh in Argentina?

Sambo writes a kinda serious beans article about why he thinks the Argentinians have attacked without any prior warning. No it has nothing to do with King William...

That is it for our round up, nothing else has happened at all this week in the news. Nope. Nothing.

Fine.

We'll talk about it then.

So this happened.

King William writes a very long and detailed victory article in which he compares his triumph to the War of the Roses. It is nicely written but it kinda of started something...

Apparently some stuff happened in congress and then this happened...

Bruce then came out after some congressional "debate" and decided that he would start a one man revolution but he is offering to drive us all there himself. It's an interesting read.

THEN...

Then Aaron Mark Daniels jumped in on the dictatorship thing started off by Bruce (which for legal reasons we must stress had nothing to do with King William) by saying he'd be backing Woldy in a race. He also mentioned some stuff about WRP*...but it makes it more exciting if we just focus on the Woldy thing.

AND BLOOMIN' FINALLY...

So now congress is voting on whether or not to ban/remove/castrate King William from Congress because he a silly Willy? It's all far too exciting or is it really not the opposite and we've just sensationalised a few articles and strung them together in an attempt to get some more subscribers?

This week we asked Colin ChipPhilfer Brown some stuff...

[NNA] What do you prefer Argentinian Corned Beef or Swedish Meatballs?

[CCB] Honestly neither. Can’t stand Corned Beef no matter what part of the world it comes from and the least said about Meatballs the better. Gimme a nice juicy Aberdeen Angus steak and I’m happy, stop trying to palm off inferior produce.

[NNA] Who would you most like to interview in the eWorld?

[CCB] That one is easy. It would have to be King William the Great just for the giggles alone and it would amuse me because I’m tapped in the head. Sadly, I don’t think he would agree to an interview but it would be funny to see him not answering my questions.

[NNA] An old favourite - why do you bother to write articles?

[CCB] Not 100% sure really, maybe its therapy or that I crave attention. Could be that the real world has to contend with my deranged ramblings so it is only fair that the online world should suffer to. Seriously I just enjoy writing and I got in to the habit a good few years ago in my online gambling days and people seem to like the stuff I wrote. So I decided to give it a whirl on eRepublik and hopefully a least one person who isn’t me likes it.

[NNA]Who should we talk to next?

[CCB]That’s a tough one because I enjoy reading a lot of articles by different people. But based on the sheer amount of activity I would say you should talk to Jake Lee Blakeway.

It's a little different and a little naughty but we liked the humour shown by Mad Pauly. Yes it's political prodding but we like the concept of Mewsnight and may even steal it if he dies...

We will split last weeks endorsements between Mad Pauly and last weeks winner Colin MrChipsstolemysalmon Brown. It's not a lot, it's subjective and if you don't like our decision submit some articles of your own!

This is a community paper.

If you see an article you feel is deserving of a mention drop us a line. Equally if you feel someone deserves to be our STAR let us know.
Any ideas for new sections will also be considered and stolen.
All endorsements will go towards prizes in our next article or other MOHA competitions.

Give us a vote, sub and shout.

UPDATE. STOP PRESS.

It has been brought to our attention that we have overlooked multiple articles by one member of the community.

We are so terribly, horribly sorry for failing to include any of these articles over the last two weeks. I can not believe we have never advised people to message us if they feel an article deserves inclusion. What a horrible bunch we are...
