It seems I couldn't have chosen a better or worse time to candidate for eIndia President.

If you haven't read it yet, my dream as an eIndian Citizen is to see an Independent eIndia & in spite of the most 'unusual circumstances' I will do my best to build towards that dream. Usually when planning/campaigning for an election, one considers the usual suspects - the general goals that one might set in order to have a successful term.

As it stands now, not only eIndia, but the entire eWorld is faced with a crisis that every nation has to individually and unitedly deal with in the coming days. The 'Rebellion'.

First to address key issues that I plan to focus on. Infrastrucutre is, without doubt, the biggest need of the hour for eIndia. We are talking of baby booms, strong military, active Congress, good governance, etc; but lack the infrastructural foundation necessary to support these long term. Much work has been done in the past month on this, and much more remains.

Infrastructure: National Security

Transition: David has already been working on making Government transitions as smooth as possible, and infrastructural work is being worked upon so set systems and checks are put in place for future terms. Access to key orgs will be strictly restricted to only those who are eligible by designation.

Military Dispatch & Recruitment: While the Communes have been making great progress & I urge more Citizens to apply for them and avail the benefits, one key area that needs addressing is Dispatch. I am happy to announce, my Minister of Defense, navincharles is already n the process of recruiting Dispatch Officers, who can work round the clock on monitoring battles, and supplying troops. Details of Dispatch Officers to be announced later. There is NO application process for this & appointments are done based on confidential criteria of the Defense Ministry.

We'll also be focusing on the structure of non-commune IAF soldiers & look towards building a strong & organized military force.

Battle Priority: As you might have noticed, recent Indian Armed Forces Orders have been carrying a basic Battle Priority system. This will be expanded upon, and Dispatch worked accordingly. Navincharles will be supported by our Military Advisor, David Forde.

Finance: I include this under National Security, as its most vital to our survival as a nation. With the departure of Devoid our long-standing MoF, I am appointing Graf Sprat as Minister of Finance. A very vital issue that needs addressing is the Import Tax debate. In order to resolve it, we'll be doing certain experimental work with the taxes to see the impact on our markets & prices (namely let it be set to higher as has been demanded by most), note the changes & organize debates accordingly. The objective is to have a flexible, yet more or less structured tax policy by the end of the 2nd week of the term. Graf will also be announcing his deputy MoF as well as a Minister of Industries, once the individuals in question have been consulted & confirmed.

We're entering the term with a sizable fund base (49k Inr & 1300 Gold) & look towards taking this figure up by at least 50-60% by the end of the term. Details of Financial programs to be announced by MoF.

National Police Force: Last month, the NPF had been re-formed with Prabal as Inspector General or Sardar as we used to call the post, with 4 ACP's. This will be structured and formalized more to guard against threats both foreign & domestic. A sub-division of it is the Research & Analysis Wing (RAW), formed a couple of months back. Its role & functions are confidential & details limited to President & RAW members only.

The NPF will also be taking on the task of monitoring & clearing Citizenship applications shortly. For current Immigrants applying for Citizenship, I request you to register & apply on our Forum here for review & clearance by Congressmen.

Infrastructure: Community Projects

Community: The Forum & IRC Chat have already been picking up steam, and recently, in consultation with the Tech Team, we have put in a basic system of guidelines - more to promote both Forum & IRC, than make them restrictive, yet add a level of discipline on the key channels. We shall continue to fine tune them, to make the community more united, and active through these mediums.

Retention Programs & Babyboom: The Ministry of Health & Education is undoubtedly one of our most key departments, and this term it will have not one, but THREE heads. Kansarasumit, current MoHE & India United Party President, Rainysunday, an old friend of mine & having 7 months of experience in eUSA's Interior Dept, and Sharry, one of our most enthusiastic Citizens & Yuuva Party President. These appointments are also based on my earnest wish for both IU & Yuuva to work together to raise fine, genuine Citizens for the future of eIndia! They will be supported by a solid group of Citizens who have already been part of the MoHE. Details on upcoming programs, to help newbies level up faster, Health Drives, Media & Educational Projects will be announced later by the MoHE. Sharry has already launched a new Facebook group & I urge you all to join & show your support!

Our babyboom efforts continue with the use of our promotional site, & more concerted efforts will be made towards this.

Real Life Connect & Rajya Sabha: eIndia represents India is obvious. So why not have more connection with RL India? While we had been using the 'Lok Sabha' as a name for our Congress mostly unofficially, I plan to introduce it as an official nomenclature, along with other names connected to our RL - Pradhan Mantri for President, etc, of course in consultation with Congress. Moreover, I plan to launch the Rajya Sabha, a group of ex-Presidents, current & ex-Congressmen. This will be a supplementary body to support the Congress & Vote on important decisions that affect the nation's policies, as well act as an Advisory board. The Lok Sabha will work together with the Rajya Sabha, so then more new Citizens get chances to be in Congress, without eIndia's policies being affected. The system of induction in RS & specific duties will be worked in consultation of & by taking consensus of current active eIndians.

Constitution Committee: In late 2009, some of us active Citizens under the supervision of then President UgoRaffaele & I as his Prime Minister, had initiated work on the eIndian Constituion. However faced with constant PTO threat, the project eventually took a backseat. Recently India101 suggested its formulation & in discussion with others, we'll be resuming work on this shortly. The Constitution Committee will be headed by Gomp with whom I have already had basic discussion on the matter. Each party needs to nominate 2-3 Citizens who will work on the draft & wordings. Then each clause/segment will be voted upon by the Lok & Rajya Sabha, in order to formalize it. This will be foundation of our eIndian Infrastructure into the future.

Media & Communication: David has set a nice precedent of regular reports promoting transparency of Governance, & I will surely continue in the same vein, with regular updates on whats going on at all times. Shaz had recently suggested & launched the Media Association for Newbies. This will be structured more, allocated funds & integrated with the MoHE programs.

Foreign Policy

I chose to address this aspect separately due to the complicated situation facing us at this time.

Allies & Alliances: As Minister of Foreign Affairs in the previous term & Presidential Advisor before that, I have been focusing on strengthening relations with our traditional allies as well as reaching out to potential new allies, irrespective of nation size. Over the past 3 months I am happy that this effort has borne fruit in form of China's support in restoring our regions & the Bulgaria rent deal. Keeping Croatia-Romania-Bulgaria-China as our ally base, we'll be looking to expand our friendship with neighboring & other nations as well. Some ways & means to do that would include sending Ambassadors, setting up embassies, as well as via direct support via MPP's, through sending mobile troops for battles, Resistance Wars, etc.

At the moment the World is in turmoil with conflicting interests & cross-alliance friendships. We have been friends with the EDEN nations such as Cromania, China, as well as their NWO opponents, Poland & Spain. Our relations with USA are no better then they were since we fell apart, so PANAM is more or less not even in consideration. In the process of developing our relations with our allies, we hope to work towards a goal of concretely joining an alliance; however this heavily depends on how the international dynamics shape up in the coming month(s).

Relations with ePakistan: Over the past month, we have been more or less, successfully been carrying out our Training War with Pakistan, and they have cooperated in our region swap for the Bulgaria Rental. My gratitude to Kualkerr & Misteriosa for their cooperation & efforts. While ideally we would like to keep the TW going, in order to provide the vital Natural Enemy Bonus for our Citizens, I don't trust the coming President of ePakistan for various reasons. We will try to seek a solution to this complication, and are exploring alternate TW options OR will go with 2-3 MPP's for the daily wars. We will also be taking back Northern India shortly as per agreement with the current ePakistan administration, while exploring options of rent in the future. For now however, the Training War will be closing in 4-5 days (right after we can propose No NE & Peace) - for reasons stated below.

Rebellion & Global Ceasefire: More critical then the wars between nations is the current 'disagreement', if we may call it, with Admin. Some recently implemented & to be launched measures taken by eRepublik Labs have been having largely detrimental effect on the majority Citizens of the eWorld. Recently some Country Presidents were banned when they put up a New Citizen Message in protest of these changes & since then the 'Rebellion' has been picking up steam.

As it stands, most CP's & national leaders (India being represented by me) came together to resolve the matter over the past 2-3 days; however due to major misunderstanding between the National & Admin Representatives, the initial meeting was a failure. On general consensus, it has been decided that ALL WARS ARE TO BE CLOSED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Talks & efforts are on to resolve the matter amicably & as soon as possible, so as not to deprive either our Citizens of their war benefits or cause Admin any prolonged loss due to lack of spending on wars. In the meantime, we're exploring the continuation of the TW option with Pakistan or other neighbors & shall resume wars as soon as the Rebellion is resolved.

Foreign Affairs & Ambassador Program: Finally the Foreign Affairs Department was setup in a new structure last month with me as the MoFA & 3 Deputies, one for each region: Americas, Europe & Asia. The structure remains. However, since Foreign Affairs is my main are of work, I'll be personally working the department, without a designated MoFA. Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs will remain; however I am yet to confirm with the 3 chosen individuals regarding their roles & responsibilities. The Ambassadors Program has been recruiting quite a few Ambassadors in the past month, & those alloted nations, will continue as before, unless they request otherwise. I urge more Citizens to apply for the program as we could always use the extra hands!

Final Word

This term my primary focus is on maximizing participation of eIndians in the effort to build eIndia's infrastructure as well as its Human Resources - namely Genuine Citizens capable of shouldering the responsibility of taking eIndia to great heights. I will personally focus on interacting with & training as many eIndians possible - either directly or via the various departments. I urge & request ALL eINDIAN CITIZENS (old & new) to apply for postitions, internships - be it in Ministry of Health & Education, Media Association, Defense & Armed Forces, Foreign Affairs, or Finance. We will do our utmost to fit you into the scheme of things & guide wherever necessary. DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TRAIN YOURSELF AS THE FUTURE LEADERS OF eINDIA!!!

I also urge you to send me your feedback, ideas, suggestions anytime through whichever medium suits you. I'll be organizing meetings to talk to as many eIndians possible towards this purpose as well.
