Good morning America. Today, Hell Jumper is bringing you Volume 8 of the all new Interviewing the Corps series! Today's interview is with the former General of the eUS Cavalry and now Marine Corps Lieutenant Ralph Ericson, better known as Ralphy No Pants.

Interviewing The Corps: Volume 8

Ralphy is the commander of Bravo 1, "Harlot's Leathernecks", famous for being Eugene Harlot's own platoon before eventually becoming Commandant, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the most awesome Congressmen to ever represent Karnataka. Ralphy No Pants as he is best known is a new officer in the Marine Corps.



Q: So Ralphy. We know that you hate pants, that you're a Marine officer and former General of the eUS Cavalry. Tell us something we don't know.
A: Most people do not know that I am in full favor of every single military grouping, national military, paramilitary and militia having an in place, ready to go cannibalism policy. It can be difficult to keep a large group supplied and that is why when the food and the cash run out that it is very important to have members in your group with food names.

The Mil Army currently has a guy named CheesyQueso. He is a perfect example what every group should have. Animal names, such as Crucifixpandaninja and PenguinLord contain animals which imply their possibility of being killed for meat. These are the kinds of people that I find indispensable to any large group.


Q: As someone who refuses to wear pants, whats it like going out in public with Kria Erikson? Does it make things awkward or does the freedom give you some sort of sense of relief?
A: For the most part Kria enjoys it. The only times things get strange are when her mother and sister are around. She has, for the most part, like my roommates, come to accept that I will be walking around in my underwear most of the time. The public experiences were something it took her awhile to get used to but she is better now.


Q: So Ralphy, what are your goals in eRepublik? Which of the goals have you already achieved? Where do you want to be six months from now down the road?
A: As usual, my goals are to wake up survive and go to bed. Right now my goal is to see what I can do with the Leathernecks. Maybe I will be able to teach them and the rest of the Marines how to play thread games.

I have met many of my main goals, been a General in the National Military, got a psych prof to admit I should show up to class drunk due to state dependent learning, met a lot of people. Six months from now I hope to be facing a new set of challenges and off on some new adventure.Hopefully tanking will be involved.


Q: So now that you've been a General already and commanded your own branch, have you thought about going into politics next? As a totally different aspect of the game to potentially explore, how does it interest you, if at all?
A: I was in Congress once before. It is something I would like to get back to. It is a very different aspect of the game and one that enjoyed but haven't had the time for recently. This summer may change that but we will see. The idea of trying to manage such a diverse populace, some of who are not really part of the community, is a very interesting proposition and one that I find quite challenging in some way.


Q: Ralphy, what made you decide to join the Marine Corps?
A: Well after the Cav was shut down I wasn't sure where I wanted to go. I just hit the bare Corps requirements at the time and figured why the hell not. just about all the retired Generals went there and staying in Army would have been awkward. I was making another Congress run I probably would have joined the NG but since I lost to jerseygirl, who I endorsed, I thought that the Marine Corps with its very international flavor and a large number of my friends would be the right place.


Q: If you could choose one person in eRepublik you would buy a drink for, who would it be and why?
A: Here's the set up. NoPants, Ethix, Denali, DeyoZero and SVV enter the bar. Denali is just there to be the Designated Driver mind you. NoPants then proceeds to buy Ethix a buttload of drinks until Ethix starts hitting on SVV and making him very nervous. Drinks are also going forth to DeyoZero until Deyo starts talking about how amazing his cocks are. We get Denali to drive us to Deyo's house where we lock up SVV and Ethix with all of Deyo's cocks. Hilarity ensues.
