Holidays are over and September calls us back to duty: so here we are with the 7th International Press Review, brought to you by the Guild of Free Journalists (GFJ).
We are happy to see that this project is having quite a lot of success. This couldn’t have been possible without your support and your help in sharing our news. We’ll keep thanking you for that!

Before letting you know the latest information from the eWorld, just some communications.

In order to improve and bring to you better news, we are looking for partners that could help us in collecting information from nations where we don’t have a National Section. It could be a great help and, as you can see below, it won’t take you too much time to provide a short report. Anyone interested to help can contact the General Chairman or the publisher of this article.

eAustria

Recently, a new President has been elected in eAustria, Luis Grindl, but basically is just a rotation because the positions and the Government are the same.

Also we celebrated a big contest, the "Yhamilfest" that was mainly taking consideration of the number of kills. Prizes are going to be distributed to the people who have arrived in first position in the classifics.

eFrance

Last two Presidential elections have been exciting in eFrance.
In the last one, the incumbent President Misterdo has lost the elections to Petauriscle.
This saw the return to control of the nation for the ELP party, which for a long time missed candidates and victories.
New term started with an impeachment to the new President, that didn’t pass but it really divided the Congress.
Abroad French armies tried to airstrike Portugal in eMoldova but without success while inland training wars went on as always.

eGermany

eHungary

Within the framework of military operations, eHungary landed in eVenezuela.
In the meanwhile eArmenia proposed to be a new training war partnerand the majority of the Congress agreed with this.
The past two weeks have been filled with internal political battles around the topic of CO (=combat orders).
According to the opposition, the Government informs its own members about the CO updates first.
Our new president is szekelyostor who is an old player that has never run the country but has had experience in cabinet..

eIndia

eIndia has moved to dictatorship after Wittyprakash threatened to sell citizenship passes to foreigners. As he was already a liability having created rogue parties and a rogue military unit, which opened the threat of PTO (😛olitical takeover) and MTO (=military takeover), eIndia has been forced to make this move.

Meanwhile, there is some talk that we may add another TW (=training war) partner, seeing that we have a long event season coming up, with Halloween not far off, which will be followed closely by the Erepublik anniversary and winter events.

eIreland

Despite the summer, a lot has happened in eIreland since the last International Press Review.
First of all, eIreland has started a new TW with eSpain, which together with the latest rotations leaves the training war network very exciting.
Moreover, the Air Rank Program continues to distribute money weekly to all Irish pilots.

And since not everything can be military, Seth the Magnificent, the new MoC (=Minister of Communication), has launched weekly lotteries. You are still in time to participate in the third one (see link below), as well as to
join the new Irish Discord.

Similarly, Congress has been busy discussing new ways to encourage activity within it. You can read more about it from Chris Jonadicus (see link below). Don't forget to read the comments too!

The only thing that does not seem to change is the Government, since Eire Aonair maintains its vast majority in Dáil Éireann and Nerusia continues to occupy the presidency despite having won the elections on the 5th with less margin than usual (20 vs 15) and facing an impeachment due to the Congress debate previously mentioned

After a year of Government run under Jinmin Sensen, both Fyreous and the party decided to not announce a candidate to offer the chance for a more open Government, one that would take a member from each party and see what can be done. We wish this initiative the best of luck!
