The Irish Radical: 100th Issue
Raven Anarcho
Thanks for reading the 100th issue of the Irish Radical. I'll be using this issue to take a look at the history of the Irish Radical and its development through the years.
THE IRISH RADICAL: A GROWING THREAT
The Irish Radical first began on September 13, 2012 (Day 1705). The first article, "A Growing Threat" featured a brief analysis of a war between the United States and Mexico. The article covered the US's decision to remain neutral among the current alliances ONE and EDEN. It was during this time that I, as a young player, was immediately moved to fight for Mexico (who was wiped by the US) and Canada. I stated my intentions in a section I called "MY CURRENT BATTLE". The article concluded with a quote and a footer of the issue number.
A PAPER IN PROGRESS: ADVICE IN DEVELOPMENT
From the beginning, the Radical was met with much attention in the Irish community. Some immediately speculated that I was a previous player, too turned on to the game to be new. But in private messages and comments, I received much advice and praise on my paper from a number of players, most importantly Mike Bane and Bean&Teddy, who had advised I add images or other media to the paper. The third issue: "Upcoming Storm" featured the addition of images to the Radical. The issue also featured the first review of newly elected global Presidents.

In issue #7, "From the Ashes", the "MY CURRENT BATTLE" was officially changed to "MY CURRENT MISSION". The following issue, "Rising Sun", included the Radical's first "Issue Song", Persons Unknown by Poison Girls.
The first interviews featured in the Radical were held in issue #12, where experienced Dail members including Bhane, Castendada, Seanan, Irasian and Liam Tatlock gave advise to newer members. Over time, very brief interviews from the CPs themselves became the norm for the "New Leader" issues, rather than brief reviews written by myself.
SPECIAL EDITIONS: A BREAK FROM THE NEWS
Over time, special editions were added to the Radical archives. The first of these special editions was actually called a special edition. The article mentioned critiques of vote buying (as i ironically, and for the only time, bought votes for the article.) as well as other comedic sections.
(note found in admin headquarters)
The first Irish Radical Contest was held in issue #15.
The first "Legend of the Month" was introduced in issue #23, "Legend". The legend revealed in the next issue was John Riley of The San Patricos, an Irish hero from the Mexican-American War.
The first Entertainment Edition was issue #38, and featured reviews of a band and movie, as well as reader favourites from Uljanov, Dagdha and Grainne Ni Mhaille.

Issue #40, Solidarity, was the first ILP presidential article featured in the Radical.
The first "Trials of Time" edition, featured a short journalistic piece from a possible future. This was the 58th issue.
A quiz edition was first introduced for issue #73. The quiz was "Which eIrish Citizen are YOU?"
(Quiz Edition banner)
The first Holiday edition, issue #74, featured 4/20.
(The Holiday edition banner)
The first "Mind of Madness" edition featured a long discussion on Pride and incorrect justification of its link to religion, nationality, race and gender.

And of course there was the experimental "GREEN" movement in the radical, in an attempt to unite eIreland's stoners and share funny videos.

NEW HEIGHTS
From the beginning, the Irish Radical received heavy support from the community. The paper's support has grown and shrunken over the years, reaching 71 actual votes in "London Falling", analyzing the Argentine invasion of the UK. The Radical continued to pick up support, reaching an all time high of 101 actual votes in "Goliath Falls", issue #62, which reviewed the collapse of TWO.
OTHER FEATURES OF THE RADICAL
The Irish radical has also had a number of LPA addresses, MoFA and MoC articles, and is currently the newspaper for Tailteann Deithe, Ireland's citizen recruitment guild.
TO THE READERS:
Thank you. I have considered myself more than anything to be a writer in this game. Every vote has encouraged me to continue to commit myself to keeping us all informed or entertained and much of my joy in this game has come from this paper and its supporters.
MY CURRENT MISSION
I have been working on the ILP site, and will soon again shift focus back to Tailteann Deithe to attempt to continue recruiting both in and out of erepublik. Militarily, i have of course been fighting heavily for Ireland against China.

Maybe i missed...did raven mentioned that artcle when he openly in the name of ilp bendover before the orcs?
Where raven basically approved and supported the massive theft of irish money?
So he can have some insignificant ministry position?
Lol....he calls himself anarho....sell himself to corrupted "elite" .....
Funny, every time you mention the word corrupt it makes me think about your attempt to win ILP presidency with multi's a couple of months ago. Got to love them hypocrites.
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/fun-with-multi-facts--2401260/1/20
Funny how Orcs and you Sub-Orcs keep trying to frame Clerics but suck at it every time.
It takes intelligence to frame someone in a proper way and you guys lack of it.
You can't deny Clerics facts...you can't argue facts with actual facts so i understand you get desperate and trying to frame us.
Remember when Nogin tried to frame KRakken with those imaginary 50 k and failed in such way even appleman turn his back on her.
Or when we were blamed for Bhane's leaving even Bhane himself said it was Seanan and company aka ORcs who drove him out of this game.
Or when CT opened a new account as dan breen pretending to be a noob and then accused me for bullying him and insulting a memory of his dad who killed himself...except two months later same dan breeen was talking about his dad eating a last cookie that day.
Or when cpt jackson trolled Clerics until he was trolled back and then claimed he is underaged being abused by CLerics....and then few months later he claimed he is not underaged when Krakken published rules of erepublik that clearly says underaged are forbiden to play this game so he got scared he will be banned....idiot...
Need more examples?
I don't need multis nor i have time or will to handle them....orcs and you sub-orcs gives me enough material to reveal you as actual hypocrites and fakes....and thieves...
tl;dr
there was that shameful lowpoint. 100 articles pales in comparison with my 500+ articles. as journalist you dont do enough but i dont think its really your game. but congrats anyway.
And lets remember you were voted as king of community by irish people and won that competition in spite Colby as minister of community tried to frame results...again...
You are a journalist equivalent of a Hulk....
Yes correct. What I mean raven is that whrn thrte is a need to highlight a serious issue that is mismsnaged the radical is mute. Your nothing but s spineless yes man
lol
My fave erep newspaper , long may it continue
A great one, indeed. I think I might have been e.dead (or "de parranda") when this was published. SO I am happy to be able to read it now. voted
