[ILP] Solidarity

Day 2,004, 10:02 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

In this issue, I will be breaking away from the foreign updates due to my new position as Party President of the Independent Labour Party.

First of All, I’d like to thank everyone who voted for me yesterday. I’ve been a member for a while now and for months I’ve been reluctant to run for this position due to both my RL schedule and in-game priorities as vMoFA. This month I decided to stick to only the ambassador program for this reason. So now, down to business…

ECOMINTERN

It came to my attention during the campaign that we were not a part of the eComintern, an in-game organization consisting of far-leftist parties throughout the eworld. The goal is to establish a stronger comradery between these parties, support one another through resources and assistance, and this is something that would be great for our party to be involved in.

I have messaged the current head of the eComintern and it appears as though our presence is looked forward to, but not official yet. He seemed very welcoming to having an Irish party involved so I look forward to updates from here. o/

WRITING COMPETITION

Here in Ireland we have a unique community. No two communities in the eworld are exactly the same, therefore we should cherish the friends we have that make this community what it is, through the good and the bad.

That being said this will be our first attempt to help stimulate the community and improve the activity within it.

The ILP will be awarding writers 500 health and 10 Q4 weps for participating in either of the following:

1. Publish an article about a historical radical leftist hero
2. Publish an article about a historical Irish hero

Be creative!

The only rules are that the following link be shared on your article:

Once all articles are published, the best will recieve a grand prize of 5 gold!

Lastly, ILP members will receive double prizes for participating

Next, we encourage all younger players to get more involved with the community. Therefore, for the next few days we will be awarding 1 gold to every new player who publishes their first article. That means if you haven’t created your paper, you will only be paying 2 gold to do so.

We encourage all young players to get more involved, introduce yourselves, and help Ireland grow to greatness!

COMRADE AWARDS

ALL RISE!

This term I will awarding two players medals on behalf of our party’s leadership. The first medal will go to an up and coming comrade, who has contributed to this nation and its community greatly as of late. With many ambassadors, writers, soldiers, and congressmen this was a tough decision but rest assured there will be more to come.

So on behalf of the ILP, for his commitment to the ambassador program as ambassador to Russia and the Ukraine, along with his exceptional service in the Dail, and his valiant service in the Labour People’s army, I would like to issue Shadowfang a Golden Comrade Medal. (10 weps)

Next, the following award will only be given to those who have earned the honor of being considered a legend amidst our party. This comrade has shown exceptional service to the ILP and our nation. He has led our party multiple times, and currently holds both the commander of the Labour Peoples Army, and the Minister of Community. For your outstanding commitment, Liam Tatlock, is here by given the ILPs greatest medal… The Order of Waffle. (1 gold)

In celebration of the first Comrade Awards, we will be giving out 5 Q4 weps to anyone who inputs "o/" in the comments below, along with an additional 5 donated to bootcamp per person.

MY CURRENT MISSION

I will be continuing out this term as PP of the ILP while fulfilling my duties in the Dail, Immigration committee, and ambassador program. Throughout this term I will be publishing both a mix of the usual articles, along with PP updates.

The issue song is dedicated to both the players of Ireland, and the ILP. o/

“Yes, we must fight, struggle, be ready for defeats and disappointments, but once we have consciously set our feet on the right road, with a clear vision of the task ahead, nothing can daunt us and all causes for pessimism disappear.” – M.N. Roy
