Okay, that's not earth-shattering, but it's tolerable. Almost respectable, even.

Seriously, people... nine live listeners? You missed a good show. The Archived show is available on demand, and is well worth the listen.
Host "Old Man" Custer was joined by past (and future?) Canadian CP Aeriala, US CP Civil Anarchy, candidate/co-host Dennis McVicker, and others, for another fast-paced hour-long show plus a 45-minute aftershow.
The main event was, once again, the Candidates segment. Everyone who has published an article announcing their intent to run for President got a letter inviting them to make their presentation on the show, without debate or dissent. No "minor candidates" accepted the invitation. Tuesday night Dennis McVicker made his pitch; last night Israel Stevens made his pitch; Alexander_Auctorius accepted but is (probably) still having connectivity issues due to storms. Players want to be President but don't want to speak to the American people, by this inaction they're delivering a message stronger than anything they write in an article.
Israel's presentation was short and sweet. We drew him out with a few questions, and he accepted challenger Dennis' one-on-one exchange on a couple important points.
We took a call from the chat room, a very new citizen named UnderstoodParadox, who had a question for the President. A very articulate fellow, we kept him on to ask about his New Citizen experience. One difficulty was the New Citizen Message, and as we went into the aftershow you'll hear President Civ and Israel immediately going to work to resolve that problem. As seen here, the newly repaired New Citizen Message is already being approved by Congress.

But if you proclaim yourself a spokesperson for OUR government, you need to address questions from the citizens. Just because I point out the obvious, doesn't make me a bad person. Do you even pay attention to what happens around you?
