[MoFA] Official: Japan Joins Circle Of Trust

Ladies and Gentlemen.


It is my pleasure to write this article to announce that Japan has officially joined Circle of Trust as a full member of the alliance with all the privileges that membership brings.


In recent days there has been a referendum in Japan on its forums to decide Japan’s future, whether to become a full member or walk away following its trial membership.

The results are as follows:

YES: 31
NO: 3
ABSTAIN: 4

This gives a resounding 91% yes vote, well above the 66% requirement. (81% if abstained votes are counted).

Meanwhile within COT representatives from all existing members
Bulgaria, Chile, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, South Korea, Switzerland

Held a vote and voted unanimously to accept Japan’s membership.


I would like to raise a toast to future successes and new friendships.
