Dogpyle doesn't usually do "propaganda". But, I figured if I'm going to keep doing this every week I'd better start to add some "substance" now and again, otherwise my ramblings will start to get old (trust me on this- I've been listening to it for over 40 years). Please keep in mind; this is my opinion. I had this big spiel all ready to go about Unity, war, the economy, and blah, blah, blah. Then Plato comes along and gives us all these missions. Say what you want about 'em; "Plato just wants our gold." and "The story line is stupid." and so forth, but it did exactly what we've been asking for. It got the economy rolling. I've got a graph for you:



All prices are daily averages. Wow, huh? You know what my favorite part is? See how Q1 weapons are more expensive than Q2 weapons? And yet peeps be buyin' them like it's a fire sale. I've been cleaning up I'm not ashamed to tell you.

So what does this say? It says that war is good (in eRep anyways). The economy is rolling, the Media was on fire (and is still at a slow boil), and people are getting involved. F'n awesome, right? Well, not really. Because it's about to end, and then we're right back where we started. Sitting on our hands and waiting for something to happen.

Say what you will about eRepublik, but it's a war game. War drives everything. Without war, you have no reason for politics. Without war, you have no economy. Without war, there's not much to write about. So let's get this party started and kick the ever loving crap out of somebody! Anybody. Hell, let's start with Foxland.

The Media and You
There have been a few articles here in the ol' media grab bag lately about the death of the media module. Bucephallus92's article springs to mind, and he makes some great points. I'm not going to go all in depth, undercover reporter on ya and tell you something he already hasn't. I'm just going to say this: Read. Vote. Comment. 'Nuff said.

Easy Company is the Shizznit.
And that's no shizznit. I'm sure your MU is the bomb. But if it ain't The EZC, then it ain't the bombiest. I'm not going to bore you with all of the perks (there's a lot of 'em) and tell you how awesomesauce (*a nod to Kara Beth😉 our forum is, or how kick ass and friendly all of our members are. Nope. What I am going to tell you, is that EZC is by far the best run MU I have ever been in. Here's another chart:



We The People
I recently found my way over to WTP, and I'm not saying Mazzy Cat promised me anything more than the occasional butt scratch (actually, there were threats of putting me to work), but needless to say, she made a good argument. So far, I'm diggin' on it. I've made a couple of friends and they all seem like genuinely nice folks. I haven't been there long enough to give y'all anything concrete, but so far, so good. If you're looking for a Party, you should check 'em out.
