** We've Come A Long Way Since **

Day 1,987, 02:51 Published in USA USA by Blue Holt

“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last, you create what you will” – George Bernard Shaw

Typically, I'd start off an article with a personal thought foretelling what the article will be about... and how ironic that I would easily skip such a crucial segment of an article, opting to post a very specific quote instead, especially when the topic at hand deals with a very itchy subject that has had a hard time being scratched, here, in our eWorl😛

Creation.

I'd like to take a moment to deviate for a split second. I believe a more proper "Hello" is in order. If you know who I am, then you know I'm here with a mission in mind and some colorful words to spout. if you don't, allow me to introduce myself. ~

My name is Blue Holt. I've been a citizen of this eWorld for well-near 1400 days, give or take a few. There have been times where I have simply vanished into the thick of night, only to reappear as bright as a comet racing across a secluded Summer night's sky. Ultimately, you're reading this, along with my regular subscribers, in hopes that I've dusted off this rusted cough whilst elating your senses with lyrical thoughts of past tenses. ~

We've all visited this topic at some point in time, in order to remedy the boring pace, ridiculous offers, and simply terrible themes we've been fed here in our little corner of the Universe. Yet, this time, I come at you with a whole different approach as to why we need to change up the daily diet in our creative patterns. This time, it isn't for the sole purpose of entertainment, to which I previously imagined we were all here for, but also a desire for creative forces to really plunge us into the eWorld.

Now, I'm not doubting that community and social circles are not doing the trick for keeping players eLive and interested... on the contrary, I believe we have a formula that seems to be working well to stem the tides of inactivity, apathy and surrender, preventing a decent percent of the masses from washing ashore...

However, I cannot help but feel that we're lacking so much more possibility, so much more talent and so much more intrigue for our small patch of home; Those missed opportunities in making the environment fun again.

So, I stand before you today... and I have one simple request to all my readers:

I want you to write something.

Our media module could certainly use the love. You and I both know it.
Yes. Yes, write something. It's as easy as that.

Please. Be creative. Maybe write a story, come up with a poem, or even tell us about how your day is going so far.

Perhaps maybe my wishes for the days of antiquity are misplaced, when it seemed that everyone had an opinion and no one was afraid to express themselves.
Perhaps I've a misguided view that we should dedicate ourselves to something we enjoy, though it seems insignificant and pointless in the eyes of many.
Perhaps we've lost a piece of the game that can never be replenished, by fault of design or the social evolution that has taken place over the many ages made weary on us.

But I'll be damned to think we're no longer capable of extraordinary creativity.
