PEACE Dissolves

Our top story today is the dissolution of the multinational force known as the PEACE Global Community. Charted over a year ago as a defensive alliance, the warmongering coalition, which waged a war of aggression against the United States and many of its allies, has formally dissolved. Fractures began to form as the PEACE occupation of North America was repelled, and these manifested themselves in the Italian withdraw from the alliance and peace between the United States and France. While the community no longer exists in name, we are all urged to be vigilant against Indonesian, Hungarian, Serbian, and Turkish aggression. Our country still faces many enemies even if they no longer call themselves PEACE.



Eugene Harlot Resigns



Eugene Harlot, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, resigned two days ago. Gaius Julius, former President of the United States, has assumed the position with NXNW, General of the eUS Army, acting as Vice-Chairman. Harlot served in that capacity, most months as the official CJCS, for 10 months, and his service has been a boon to this country. His official announcement came through the Marine Corps logistics division.



Tyler Jenkins Appointed Secretary of Defense

Tyler Jenkins has been appointed Secretary of Defense, replacing Inwegen. Jenkins is a veteran of the Airborne, currently commanding the 4th Platoon and serving in the Airborne Special Forces division. Please join me and the other members of Cabinet in welcoming him to his new post.



War Games With Ireland

After the proposal was stalled in the Irish Congress, war games between the United States and Ireland are once again ready to commence. The first attack is scheduled to come today, with the Irish invading Rhode Island. Further attacks will come every other day as per contract between Ireland and the United States. They are all expected to begin at noon server time. Vice President Woxan is to be credited for spearheading this initiative. The operation is officially designated the “Scrabman, Why is Ireland Attacking Us Wars” and also goes by the colloquial name “Providence Perpetual Saint Patrick’s Day.”

Ireland will not be attempting conquest of the eUnited States with this invasion. These are mutually agreed-upon operations for training and healing purposes. Several nations are already confirmed participants in the festivities in Rhode Island, including Norway, Romania, Spain, and Israel. The President spoke about the war games here.



Mutual Protection Pact with Italy

After the Hungarian occupation of Switzerland was removed, Italy broke free and became one of the first nations to formally leave PEACE GC. Discussions between the United States and Italy have led to Italy further distancing itself from its imperialistic former-allies by signing a mutual protection pact. The President spoke about Italy and their courage to leave the PEACE GC here, and the President and United States Congress were in support of protecting Italy from PEACE retribution. With the greater cost of mutual protection pacts today, this money did not come from the United States budget. Josh Frost paid the full price of the MPP personally.



PigInZen Appointed Technology Department Director

A new Cabinet-level position has been created for the Technology Department. We are not announcing many details about what this position will do yet, but we can tell you that its director will be none other than PigInZen. Look for more information in a future press conference.



Update on Israel

Turkey used its many activated mutual protection pacts against Israel and conquered Haifa District. In doing so, they activated Israel’s mutual protection pacts with Croatia and the United States, meaning the United States can fight in this war from home. Turkey enjoys the assistance of Indonesia, Serbia, Iran, Brazil, Russia, Hungary, and one other country of not as much importance, meaning the odds are still stacked against Israel. Turkey did not push their offensive deeper into Israel, and Haifa District went back to Israel in a resistance war. President JMatH was impeached, and the new President of Israel is Zaib Atsu.



Hungary Invades Austria

Hungary, not satisfied with their recent total conquest of Slovakia, has invaded Austria, a nation bullied by Hungary in the past. EDEN and the United States sympathize with Austria and their struggle, but are not military allies of Austria. The attack came at Burgenland, activating Austria’s alliances with France and war-game-hosting Malaysia. Austria secured the region, and Hungary continues to fight attempts to free more of Slovakia. Austrian retaliation came in the form of another front opening against Hungarian-occupied Bratislava.



Ambassador Applications

The State Department is still processing applications for ambassador and deputy ambassador positions. Ambassadors gather information on their assigned countries and are expected to represent the eUS in a professional manner.



Congressional Elections in Four Days

Congressional Elections will take place on the 25th of November. Residents with American citizenship of age to vote are allowed one vote on this day. You may only cast your vote in the region you live in when you go to vote. Party Presidents will decide their official candidates on the 24th.



United States Training Corps

The United States Training Corps, the entry point for higher branches of the United States military such as the Home Guard and Army, is still taking new recruits. Stand up straight with your arms at your sides and fill out this form to sign up:
