Finally, the US and Canada felt like they could take on Hungary. First they tried to take Manitoba, with the US leading the way. Again, the war would see another Top Battle, has the battle would chalk up over 8 million damage dealt. After this defeat, Hungary had placed a nice size population there to make it easier to defend and increase the attack cost, the Huns gave up all of their territories in the New World except Alaska and Nunavut, which were the last 'Fortress Regions' PEACE held. The point of these regions was to maximize the gold spent by the enemy and increase the wall starting point, helping the defenders. America, with EDEN, would liberate Nunavut with relative ease in comparison with other battles, and finally freed Canada from occupation by a hostile force since the beginning of the war. By now, the remaining Hungarians in the New World Colonies realized that the war was over, and most had returned to the Balkans or their new Fortress Region in China. America would liberate Alaska on October 29th, 2009, ending the North American Invasion.

The NA Invasion was a turning point in the way people viewed the strategy of the game. Prior to this, few had grasped the idea of Fortress Regions. In fact, an American President had placed a Q5 hospital in Kansas a short time before the invasion, because of the thought that if the coasts were taken, they could retreat to the interior. The United States was littered with hospitals of varying quality. A state could receive a Q5 hospital once it's population had reached a certain number. At the time of the NA Invasion, the US only had Q5 hospitals in New Jersey, Florida, and Kansas, with Q4 hospitals in California and New York. During the war, the idea of Fortress Regions grew immensely popular, and it spread throughout the eWorld. Another innovation of the war was last minute tanking. Now before this tanking was done at the last few minutes, but it was also spread throughout the remaining hour of the battle. With the increased importance of battles, thousands of players, literally, would click the Fight button at the same time. This lead to many server problems, which in turn lead to a popular saying of the Admins getting 'Q5 Servers' for the site. Funny how now a days this is taken for granted.


Help Wanted!
I am requesting help in this project. After this war my mind goes hazy in terms of chronological order of events. It needs a trigger to bring back memories. So, you remember what happened after the conclusion of the war? PM myself, and if you are indeed helpful I shall give out a monetary reward of gold, as it is universal. I do this in advance because I work ahead of what I publish and I need to continue working on it
