I think you should use the currency to buy weapons of the best quality and donate to volunteer's of the highest strength. That way they are put to the best use...

Turn the currency into gold or keep it as currency, whichever buys the weapons easier.

I like the idea of distributing weapons. I also think you should find someone to make some money on the MM, not just cash it in for gold but play the market and earn extra income on it.

Dean, I had considered that, but , I had two reservations. A. Everyone is trusting me to hold the cash, however, if I am playing the money market and the cash is appearing and disappearing, its a harder trust to maintain. Currently, it is in public domain, and everyone can both see the trust ammount, and also do the math on it + verify via going into past editions of the paper. Did all of that to provide accountability to the donating public. Also with the way the money market is now, it would take forever to use larger sums

These people are raising money for RW's too...it might do well to throw in w/ them on advertising or merge or something?

I would either use the currency to fund tanks in the RW or buy gold and start multiple wars like Canada did

My opinion isn't set in stone for this one, both are good options, but I think the money should go towards the purchase of weapons. It would be better to have just enough gold for 1 or 2 resistance wars supplied with weapons, than having enough gold to start 5 or 6 RWs without the extra weapons.

I disagree. I think it'd be best to have a lot of low quality weapons than a few high quality weapons. That's just my personal philosophy.

I would think you should get the money to start the wars and the citizens should be saving up their money to have weapons on hand when one starts...at any rate, it'll be hard to store too many weapons, so unless you get a good deal, holding the cash might make more sense

Tyrone- have looked at the math, and honestly, money spent on q1 weapons is more cost effective then q5's.

Well, if I go the weapons route- I will find a way to handle the storage issue. Thats a good point however, and glad your participating in the discussion. As for joining up other RW efforts, if anyone wants to try and get them to merge up, I am for that, but I am also a cynical and untrusting soul, and would rather not provide access to anyone else to the trust and everyone's money within. Have done everything in my power to provide transparency to all.

Will I guess I am still considered a newbie, I say that while having money for defenses likes hospitals and walls is important, it is also necessary for soldiers to do a lot of damage. I say give some gold to the government but most of it goes into buying weapons. I won't be able to fight until a couple of days, once I can I shall help your cause.

That's understandable...i think getting people to donate to RW's could be an easy scam so people should be very sure they know who they are donating to. Just recently Benn Dover and Uncle Sam rigged a lottery and made 400 gold off of it and declared their multi's the winners...so you don't really know who you can trust.

Also - I think the weapons route would be better. I look at it this way - start a resistance war and have odds you probably won't win, or provide a ton of weapons to players who can't afford it or haven't fought with weapons. I'd go with the latter.

I have gotten several messages about increasing funds via monitary market, and also using it to both enrich us and take currency out of our enemies funding. This is possible and I am willing to do it. However- it also would take awhile and lock up funds for a period of time, and unfortunately I wouldn't be able to provide accountability and visibility to everyone. I am a bit uncomfortable with that concept. I dunno. Any thoughts?

Q1 weapons is the best option.

Don't limit the RW to America and Canada. There are plenty of regions in the hearts of their emoires that have less than 10 citizens and no wall. No only does this distract them, but it wins over other disossessed nationals.

You should trade it in for gold, at most change it back into USD and buy guns on the US market. All these funds are to go towards RW in America, all the funds should support America in every way possible, including her workers.

Buy weapons. You should also save some money to ship people into places you are going to have fighting a resistance war, so there are some people in these regions.

Cynic investing in the monetary market is a very hard thing to do plus that fact that we are at war is an even more reason not to do that cause of the ever fluctuating economies. I suggest you do as watchout5 had said. Also buy weapons from American owned companies and please do coordinate with the current administration.

I think that's an interesting point made by Majester. A majority of the gold should go to reclaiming our own regions, but liberating other nations (perhaps North Korea) is almost as important, and would put us in a better light internationally speaking.

I think it would be best if it is kept as gold or turned into gold to distribute to the people who need the gold to start the wars itself. It's much harder to get the gold to start a war then it is to get money to buy weapons.

I say buy weapons with the money and then start as many RW's as you can at the same time so it's harder for them to concentrate on a single RW to defend.

Yes, changing whatever currencies you have to gold would certainly be the best option unless the currency you have is from a PEACE country. Their currencies could get stronger.

I think that the MM idea is risky but I also think that buying guns won't do much right now. We need to save up for the future so therefore I propose that you should find a bank and invest in it. I once put money into a bank and it paid out 5% a week to me.

5% is quite a lot. Right now there's worth around 110 gold in the Legacy Fund. At 5% you would get 5.5 gold per week. May not sound like a lot but it adds up. I don't see the use in buying weapons at this moment in time. Eventually we will rise up again but not in the immediate future.

Point taken chris- However, using the Legacy trust fund to invest in the generation of more wealth would be something that I would need to get permission of project participants, voters/subbers/donators, on a very overwhelming scale. It is a Trust for everyone, and fore eUSA's future. I don't have the authority to commit it to that purpose by myself. In addition, if it gets locked up in investments, its not immediately usable, should there be an available option to be exploited(exploited as in taken advantage of, not cheating) by eUSA.

Personally- I think we should forget resistance wars, and fund the construction of Liberty Prime.

I say tell me when and where to go fight and I will be there. Yes weapons make a huge difference, and I would love some free ones as with the war going things have become a little expensive But the real money is made in organizing our resistance.

I really think converting it to gold and waiting would be better...think of this: the resistance wars will come after we are wiped out presumably. At that point, a huge portion of this war will cease meaning that weapons would likely decrease in price. So converting to gold now and waiting to purchase when there is a price dip at the end would get you more bang for your buck and you'd have more of an overall picture at that point in knowing how much gold you have and how much gov't support you will be able to get. Plus, it doesn't take a whole lot of money to buy up 50 weapons and then you wouldn't be able to purchase more, so keeping cash seems better and I like the idea of seeing if you could earn interest on it w/ some contingency that you could pull it out when needed.

I'm a noob at the money market thing, but if there is a way to get Rubles, I'd buy up Russian Q1 guns... they're priced just over one ruble! No wonder they can get so many guns into so many hands!

Barring that, I've read over and over that Q1 guns in many hands will yield a MUCH bigger return than Q5 in the hands of a powerful few. Besides, I want me some fightin'!

On the MM tip, possibly use a fraction of what's available to sell on the market. Leaves a lot of funds available, but allows us to make money WITH money.

Playing the MM to be profitable enough to justify the effort is very time consuming and, as you mentioned, opens you up to all kinds of accusations and un-needed BS. I'd store the funds as gold since that is the only universal standard in the game. A time will come when its time to either fund an RW or get weapons.

Save the money. We're gonna get run over anyway. We'll need it.
