Join the new world

Greetings, members of the eUK.

TUP, or The Unity Party, is currently the biggest in the eUK and has been for well over a year now. For all that time and then some I have been a member.

I remember clearly the day I joined, I had looked at all top-5 parties and decided that the ideals TUP had in their mission statement were the most like mine- and so I took the step and clicked that ‘join’ button.

I then made a big mistake: I didn’t get involved. For well over a year of my eLife, I just two-clicked in the background, working and training, maybe reading the news and fighting occasionally. In this state the game didn’t mean much to me and took all of five minutes each day.

All that changed just a few short months ago when I joined the forums, as well as TUP’s subforum. This turned out to be the best decision of my eLife, for two reasons:

The community on those forums and IRC, and the doors that were then opened to me.


An open door

Seriously though I’ve never looked back since that day. It’s been a privilege to work with some great people, and it’s allowed me to be elected to congress twice, and to become a current minister in the eUK’s government. I’m now able to understand what’s going on and do some important work in recruitment, all because of the firm foundation I have in my party. (Take a look at my recent recruitment article while you’re at it, it’s got a cool idea for how to get more people playing!)

I’ve always been proud to call TUP my home on eRepublik, and I think one of the reasons why is that they always seek to look after the newer players. Case in point is the fact that TUfP now supplies the entire country’s younger population with welcome baskets and food, as well as their support for young players in the congress elections. The party motto pretty much sums up how things are:


Strength in Unity!
