Hello my fellow Americans,

Before we get to information regarding our invasion-counter strategy for the remainder of the term, I’d like to direct your attention to the most recent WHPR. The most recent article, written by our Secretary of Media Civil Anarchy details the new Unity System for Presidential Elections, gives an update on the National Broadcast System, and updates and advertises the WHPR Recruitment Drive, all things that the citizens should be updated on.

I mention this because I’d like to comment upon the new Unity System. The former system, decided by the PPs and the Executive Branch a few months back, as you all know worked such that the Top 4 Parties had their primaries, and whichever candidate won the most T4 primaries won the election, with a tie breaker being who won the most 6th-party elections.

Keeping the idea of the independently held primaries, and independent people being appointed to collect the votes, the new Unity plan is essentially a direct vote, where as aforementioned all parties hold independent primaries in the ways they’ve been doing so- whether that be a forum poll, an independent site, etc. - and all votes shall be tallied up, including the votes of the sixth parties, with the Unity winner being the one who has the most votes.

The other new aspect to this plan are formal conditions which must be met for Unity to end. The conditions are as follows:

1. The Top 5 is fully controlled by friendly parties
2. The PTO vote drops below a 20% CP vote, and 9 congressmen.

Whether you like it, or you hate it, we should still commend the Party Presidents for working independent of the Executive, and coming up with a new plan. Taking it upon themselves to ensure that it is fair, upheld, and more importantly, ends when it is time for it to end.



And now, onto Operation H.A.M.

I’m not going to fully explain the plan in this article; say what you would like about strategy in this game - or how it no longer exists - the element of surprise still plays a role in warfare, and while there is certainly no surprise that we’re trying to not be wiped, and that we plan on kicking out these invaders, where we strike from, against who, and how we go about it is still key to ensuring we get the timings we need and that we control the flow of the battle.
People of whom need to know what the plan is have either been informed already, or due to our IRC timings not synching, will be informed in a timely manner so that all people are ready and able to strike when needed, and ensure this plan bears fruit.

Regarding the plan, I shall comment upon its premises; there are but four true, full days left of my term. On Saturday, it appears, Paul Proteus will be taking over. The last thing a president wants to have to do is fix things from the previous administration, and dedicate valuable time to clean up messes they had no hand in creating. I am committed to ending my service with all of the gusto and passion that I started it with. I will not leave Paul any messes to clean up, that way Paul’s can term start off right, and will be defined by his decisions, his ability, and his prowess, not by anything I’ve left for him.

Tomorrow, the first coordinated steps towards our liberation will be taken. It will be one step among many. A marathon, not a sprint. But we will do it together, united under one banner: The Stars and Stripes.

So long as we are together, nothing can keep us down.
