Restore Switzerland - Military Affairs

Day 1,806, 00:04 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Monsieur Guillontine

Salut madams and monsieurs,

Ever since the establishment of the Swiss National Army more than half a year ago, Switzerland has clearly expanded its military presence in the region. Although the Swiss population is significantly smaller than neighboring nations, the amount of damage which we can deliver in a single battle is immense. That being said, reforms must be made to ensure further success.

With everything that the government spends funds on, it is important to keep in mind that we do not have an unlimited treasury, and so we must spend wisely, calculating costs properly. Recently, we have just begun supplying all soldiers, whether strong or weak, with the same amount of supplies. I think it's wrong, and ridiculous to distribute supplies in such a manner. Instead, under my term, I will implement a new policy which classifies soldiers based on their strength. Stronger soldiers will receive more weapons. If the stronger soldiers are the ones who will inflict more damage on our enemies, wouldn't it make more sense to invest in them so that we can ensure victory? Some may say that this approach is elitist and only helps the rich become richer, and the poor become poorer. And yet, my argument in opposition to that statement is that our funds are limited. If we want to Switzerland to survive as a community, stressing our strong areas, and in this case players, is the only way of pushing the whole nation forward.

Similarly, the Swiss Department of Armament and Health has also been doing a great job with providing needy citizens with food. However, in order to become more efficient, I propose reforming the current method of distribution. As of now, everyone receives 2,000 health from the organization. Why should players receive the same amount though, when some are active whereas others are simply going day-by-day, barely participating in the community? Instead, I propose revitalizing the organization by encouraging citizens to fight in a certain battle, and if they do so, they will receive food. And in addition to that, similar to my proposal regarding the Swiss National Army's distribution of supplies, I believe that it is important to reward the soldiers who are making a bigger difference on the battlefield. Why waste government resources on a player who will not only fight in random battles, but also inflict barely any damage? That is why it is critical for the government to begin supplying players according to their strength and activity.

So in the end, I am promoting a difference in the amount of supplies being distributed, simply based on a citizen's strength and activity. After capitalizing on our strengths, our weaknesses will diminish, and so our whole nation will benefit from such success. Now is the time to reform the Swiss military, now is the time to overcome our excessive expenditures. Make your voice heard. Make your vote count. Vote Monsieur Guillontine for Country President! Restore Switzerland!

Let's fight. Fight for peace.

Peace out,
Monsieur Guillontine
Presidential Candidate
