The nations listed above are our broad team. Remember, eRepublik isn't about countries fighting alone, we are part of an alliance - when our alliance is strong, we are strong. Fighting for any of these countries is as good as fighting for the UK, we are all striving towards ONE collective goal!





Our current priority is in Hungary, who are fighting against Romania. This is an important battle as, if Hungary win it, their war with Romania will be closed off for the time being, allowing us to concentrate on fights elsewhere.

'The Smobster over-achiever scheme'
If you're a member of TUP Family and have got more than 30 kills on the roster, then please comment in this article today with your regiment and the amount of kills you racked up. If you've been an over-achiever and got 30+ kills, we'll send you 300 health worth of food!
You can check your regiment and kills by navigating to TUP Family's home page, which is via the navigation bar: Community > Military Unit. You can also get there by pressing Shift+M on any page of the eRepublik website.





It's been a hectic week! New missions, alliance politics leaks, all sorts!

We've had a leak of a ONE meeting, with logs of everything that was said posted on pastebin for all to see, and the fallout from that plastered all over our screens.

We've had countries on both sides unhappy with their alliances, and plenty more yet to come.

This story is still developing though, so more on it in tomorrow's issue.

Also of note is that in one of the new missions, you're asked to join a party and vote in their PP elections- do it! And make sure the party you join is TUP!


We have been working towards a single cohesive guide for our members, send us your questions about what you are unsure about and we can help you out. Eventually we will clarify all issues raised in sections on the guide, so by asking us for help, you're helping more people in the future!

Chatting with our Community on IRC
If you want to keep in touch with the community actively and get involved, the best way is to join our IRC channel #TUPFamily on irc.rizon.net with whichever IRC client you prefer.
Many of you will not have used IRC before, and so will not have downloaded client software to use. However, there is a good web-based IRC client called mibbit that many of our members use. Here is a link to mibbit, which will automatically take you to #TUPFamily once you enter a username.

We suggest you use the same username that you use in eRepublik for clarity. The IRC channel is typically most active in the evening, roughly 6pm-1am GMT, so don't be surprised when there's not much going on there are 4am or at mid-day when a lot of people are at work or school or have other commitments!

Registering your IRC nick
- To make sure that your nick cannot be stolen, allow you to join certain channels, and receive privileges like voice and admin, you'll need to register your nickname with the Nickname Service, called NickServ.
- To do this, you send a register command with your desired password and your email address: /msg NickServ register [PASSWORD] [EMAIL] –for example /msg NickServ register qwerty123 lorem@gmail.com
- After this, check your email, you will have received a message from services@rizon.net which will contain the next command you need to use. Copy and paste the command in your client, it will look like this: /msg NickServ confirm PNw1TCM0H
- Now your nickname is now registered, when you login you can identify yourself by using the following comman😛 /msg NickServ identify [PASSWORD] –a shorter way to do this is: /ns identify qwerty123

The eRepublik bot on IRC
On the #TUPFamily channel there is a bot called eRepublik, which carries out various functions, including providing you with information about your citizen and others.
To make this feature a lot more easy to use, you should register your citizen on your IRC nick. This will save you time when trying to use the bot, and will make it easier for us to find your citizen to donate food and weapons.
To link your citizen, type in: .register_citizen
Now that your citizen is linked to your IRC nick, feel free to take advantage of the bot. Following will be a list of commands, with a linked nick you need type in only the command and it will return a result for your citizen. If you wish to find out about another citizen, you will have to type in the command and then that citizen's name.

Useful eRepublik bot Commands:
.lp –displays various stats of the citizen, such as age, rank, experience, strength and place of employment
.link –provides a hyperlink to the citizen
.fc –displays how much influence the citizen deals per hit in battle, with every quality of weapon
.avatar –provides a link to the citizens avatar image
.donate –provides a link to the donate page of the citizen
.battle (followed by battle ID number) –displays information about the battle, such as balance of influence and amount of points for each side
.medals –displays a list of the citizen's medals
