Yesterday, Cynic Grim started an initiative that really looks like it's gaining steam. His idea is that we can earn some easy free gold by building any newspaper up to 1000 subscriptions. In his newspaper, Cynic's Press for Newbs, he lists 16 newspapers whose editors have pledged to donate their gold to resistance war or military causes. This paper's editor has pledged to do that. If these papers are successful, we will be able to donate 80 gold to the American cause.

I am writing to appeal to all the readers of this paper and to all eAmerican citizens to place their papers on this list, subscribe to the papers on the list, and keep spreading the word about this movement, which I am informally dubbing The United States Pen and Paper Brigade (just a name; I give all the credit in the world to Cynic Grim for starting this great idea! I just wanted to give it a clever name for the sake of ease!) This cause contains the papers of the following editors:
