Greetings my dear citizens, unlike my last two articles, I have a serious matter to discuss with you today. Today, I would like to announce my candidacy for Party President of the UIP. Upon being elected, I will promptly light a cigarette, burn the party down, rename it, and start to build something from the ashes.
During the entire time I have played this game, the UIP has struggled. Sure there were moments of greatness, but in the end laziness and apathy would take hold and they would be right back at square one. During the time I have been gone, it appears things have only gotten worse as the UIP is now in 9th place. Now I do not fault them entirely for this, as parties wax and wane at times. What does concern me though, is that it appears nothing is being done about it. There has been no article published by the Party President this month detailing any sort of plan, nor has there been a UIP article published by any prominent member that I could find. This my friends is unacceptable.
This is why I am running and feel justified in doing so. Like a fish out of water, the UIP has flopped around for too long. It is now time to just put it out of it's misery. Upon being elected, the party will be renamed THE MOVEMENT and I will build the party the way the old SEES was, minus the Emerick worship and nazi propaganda. The party will be organized, efficient, serve America, and by damn you will know who we are.
I have been told by members of the UIP, that this is being viewed as a PTO, and that is fine. That is why to be fair, I wanted to state my intentions up front, there are no secrets here. If elected, I will kill the UIP as we currently know it. In my view, that will not be a bad thing, but they are more than welcome to defend themselves on the 15th. If the UIP is strong and organized, then they will survive and prove their worth. If they are weak and disorganized as I suspect, then they will not survive. It is really as simple as that. I have no hate or hard feelings towards the UIP it is simply survival of the fittest, and the most fit will survive on the 15th.So UIP members, join me or sharpen your battle axe because shit is about to go down. To the rest of you reading this:

As far as a Pto goes, that is part of the game and his reasons stated are fair. The current uip may not care for it, but as the #9current party they are a shadow of their former self.
Once could also cite that the USLP are a "shadow" of their former self - but does that justify completely destroying a party for some "fun".
Also, on the case of "multi'ing" - I believe that once you have multi'ed - you never regain the status of a "legitimate" player.

Thank you Rod. I have no other accounts, all those in a position of power are more than welcome to check. I am taking what I believe is a dead party over. If the party is indeed not dead, as many have told me then they will prove this fact on the 15th. In response to the comment made by Jason Stiltner, I would agree that the Libs are a shadow of what they once where. However, during the last few days they have published articles and talked about getting better. Something the UIP does not do in opinion. Here are the articles for reference:

To me it just seems like a dead party though you may disagree. PROVE to me the party is deserving of a top 10 spot by beating me on the 15th. If not, I think it is time to let someone else have a chance.

@Jason Welsh: What I meant by the SEES part is that I am creating a well organized and efficient party. SEES was a pain in the ass at times, but no one can deny their efficiency. All I am try to do is take the organization of SEES, remove the asshole stuff and presto, get us a nice new party.
I hated SEES, but other then the Nazism and Emerick hardon they had, it's the prime example of how a party should be if it wants to hit above its weight.

Well, I was planning on PM'ing Gulden to ask WTF was going on, until I read the first couple paragraphs of this drivel. To those people who know me and still think this is something to be lauded as "a good thing", think again. Yes, to be quite candid, the UIP is in a bad state of disrepair. So? I am running as the "official" UIP PP candidate, mandated by the people and yet to be voted on in the PP Poll on our forum, Which Sir Gulden Draak has not bothered to "officially" join. Only by annoucing his intentions on that forum AS A REGISTERED MEMBER of the UIP on the forum can his name be put on the poll. IF Mr. Draak insists on calling himself and his campaign a PTO he will not be allow a membership on the forum.
OK, all that said, I would like to point out two possible outcomes. Before I type them I would like to say that I don't give a flying flip which way this goes down. Anyone who really knows me in this game will tell you that I mean it as the gospel truth.
Scenario one: The above PTO plan is adverted because people will help the UIP stay it's own legitimate party. I am counting on my many friends to assist me in this endeavor. I will have to create a document to keep track of who was for me and who was against me because my memory is not that great and I won't want to forget who's who.
Scenario two: I don't have as many friends as I think (funny, I counted Gulden as one until just now) and the PTO is successful. He will have a empty party with a bunch of lifeless eCorpses. The forum and the active members stay with me, and I'll just buy us a new party. Anyone want to guess what the name will be? And I'll still need that G'doc, but there will be a lot more people on my naughty list. I'm big on returning favors, looks like evil pickle may have to deal out some dirt.

I am sorry for stepping on peoples toes, but as has been stated, the people will speak with their vote. If you don't like what I am going to do, then circle the wagons, get your friends together, and beat me. If not, then move aside and restart the UIP if you desire.

If you cant beat him then you don't deserve the recruiting tool that is your party, move to a smaller one. Simple as that.

The concept of “The Movement” would have been far more attractive as a viable PP option, for a certain segment of the eUS population, had it been a fresh from the ground up initiative. It might even have attracted many like-minded players from other eNations.
As presented, the motivational bottom line appears to be a time and cost savings device, with the possibility of a significant residual membership base, thus saving you the trouble of the initial recruitment drives and the effort associated with that as well.
All of which would indicate that at present, and therefore quite possibly in the future, you are neither inclined to put in the effort required to fully develop a party, nor are you “organized, efficient”. Instead you prefer to feed off of what others have achieved in that area, even if it is small by comparison with what you envision.
If the intention is as you describe, quoted above, then there would be no reason to take the easy road and “build the party” designed to “serve America”, on the bones of one whom you've crushed, starting off with a calcified foundation, (as with the defunct SEES) at best.
At worst, all of “the players” will most certainly “know who (you) are”. Unfortunately, “The Movement” will be most closely associated with bowel and your invitation to “Join (you for) the Movement” takes whatever “GLORIOUS” luster there might have been, off of the End Result.

The image of the forcefully, upwards thrusting fist, resting as it is on the staggered, grunting party name, will be difficult to extract yourself from. I will remember it forever, in conjunction with Sir Gulden Draak. 😛😛
A NOTE TO MY BENEFACTORS: While I am blindsided by the attack on the UIP by Gulden and do not respect anyone who would PTO whether openly or not. There is no reason to let this turn into a shouting match. Please keep it civil and in order. Until such time as Gulden begins to use misquotes and falsehoods to represent his case, we should respect his right to say whatever he chooses.
A NOTE TO EVERYONE ELSE: I am discouraged to see how easily the posters here have turned their back on tradition. I believed that there were certain unwritten rules in the eUSA. Yes, we have our Peiffers and Pizzas. We have the 'I'm the official military.', 'No I'm the official military!' thing. We have the 'You're an elitist!', 'You're a wannabe!' thing. And of course lets not forget 'Congress is out of control and power mad!'.
UNWRITTEN RULES: We don't PTO and we come together to ATO anyone who does, foreign or domestic. We don't poach from other parties or MU's. We come together for the good of the country when under attack. (Other that these, we are a bunch of lying, backstabbing, two faced bandits! xD Please allow me a little comic relief.)
I am a bit disappointed in comments written here. Both that verbal assaults have started so easily and that criticizing a party that is down on it's luck has also come so easily. Are we this bored with the game that we need to attack one another?
The UIP was a great help to the eUSA during WWIII, has be a friend to those in need, has supported every ATO ever, has had the back of many other parties, either top 5 or not and has never shown any true aggression towards anyone or anything American. So I ask with all sincerity, "What the hell is this all about!?".
I'll make Gulden this offer, one time and one time only. If you want to start a new party to carry out exploits and have fun with your return here that is wonderful. I will pay the gold to make you a party. This can all be over and done with today.
On the other hand, if this is some vindictive attempt to stomp out a 'little' party just to start shit like S.E.E.S. did to gain notoriety, make a name for yourself, you are pissing on the wrong tree. This oak won't bend. Do your worst, destroy the UIP, send it's true members to other parties ('cause they damn sure won't stay). You'll have a party full of useless dead citizens, solely there to make you look bigger than you actually are.
Don't forget that I will still be around. Hey, this might be cool after all! Instead of being the happy go lucky guy I am here, having contests, giving away shit, being friendly to all who will have me and helping all those that I can, I can be a vengeful troll that lurks on IRC and forums, incommunicado, seeking info to start trouble and disrupt everyone and anything who has allowed this travesty to happen. (BTW, not a threat.)
I won't say let's all be pals again, but I would like to see this stop now before it gets ugly and causes another schism in the eUSA. We have had enough of those, haven't we?

Btw, the No PTO rule only applies to every party but ours, because no one seems to care when we are PTO'd.

Haha this has gotten so out of hand. It is a simple PP election in the 9th party. I want to take the party in a new direction, and some members of the UIP want to remain as they are. Democracy will decide the victor on the 15th. The winner will have the party, and the loser will create their own or take over something smaller. It is really as simple as that.
@Gulden; Fine, have it your way. The troubling thing is, if public opinion proves you to be correct, I will have lost any trust I had in the way the current power structure conducts business. This could split the eUSA much worse than arguing militaries or oldfag v newfag.
You may laugh now, but possibly be bitter later. As a point of reference, I look to the RL WWII. Russia and the Allies came together to defeat Germany. They were not friends before nor afterward, but they did work for a common goal, to retain power. You have made an excellent case for me to support Pizza The Hut's argument that there should be change in the eUSA.

So just to get this straight, you're claiming this exact same thing would be perfectly valid with any other party besides the UIP, such as the Feds, Libs, AMP, USWP, etc.?
Lucky for the UIP I suppose, I've yet to see anyone of any major importance pledge their support for you. With the exception of maybe SVV, but he has a GF to occupy his time, so meh.

Shino, I was just being clinical regarding the pto. Having been dealing with TO operations for so long, I don't really look at them emotionally anymore, just as part of the whole. The #9 party typically has little strategic worth.
Regardless if Gulden succeeds or not the uip can only be destroyed by the uip themselves. Worse case someone will buy a new party.
Just a thought, but maybe you should target the Albanian Unity Party in the #8 slot instead. I mean, they're clearly not even Americans. Give the UIP another month, if they don't do anything then even as a long time UIP supporter I would say they're fair game. Of course I might just go in there and shake things up myself. About time I got active in this game again.
