THE SUN HAS SET...
...And the Old is New Again.
Let's face it, the once mighty Libertarian Party has fallen. Lying stagnant in fifth place only by the grace of Dio, the once great party today is a festering pile of rubbish compared to what it once was.
Many great eAmericans came from the ranks of the Libertarians; people like Miles Robinson, Brent Abernathy, DaphneLilac, sydiot, DanielCD, Devoid, Bradley Reala, C-Roy, Emerick, KrissyKat, LifesaverM, Dennis McVicker, Robert Oakden, Indrae, S0beit, Iasov, and Marxus. As one of the oldest parties in the eUSA, the Libs has a storied history. Unfortunately, that history also includes bad times. Anyone remember the ATDP period?
Recent Events
The past few months have seen the steady decline in both the activity level and the membership numbers of the Libertarian Party. Months ago, I saw the writing on the wall for the party when I had talks with leaders of the Libs as the Chairman of the SFP. I was looking at the possibility of merging the two parties told them unless something drastically changed, the Libertarians would continue to see a downward spiral in it's popularity and influence.
With the election of Jelly9473 to the Office of Party President, the Libs looked poised to become an active and influential party again. Then came the issues with his connectivity to the New World. Once again the party lay dormant. Then a multi named Pizza the Hut II mass messaged the Libertarians.
Did Someone Order a Pizza With Anchovies?
Let's address that mass message, shall we? As a new member of the Libertarian Leadership, I took that letter as a shot to the gut. Unfortunately, I cannot dispute some of the things that was sai
😛
Recently your Party President nominated a joke candidate for Country President and did not both to hold a serious primary...
There were very few times that Jelly9473 has been able to get online, but when he did, he did exactly what Ajay (PtH2) said. It was a decision that has angered the current group in Leadership looking to change the ways things are. It was a bad decision, pure and simple, and I can speak for Jelly9473 and say that he is very sorry.
The party has been declining for a long time.
I think I stated that same exact thing above. So rarely enough, more than one instance of truth in something Ajay says. Weird.
FYI: This is the type of person that Ajay Bruno is. You can also get more information on him here and Gnilraps talks about his party poaching here.
The Future
I want to let each and every member of the United States Libertarian Party know that there is a core of people already working on changing what has been happening in the party. Lead by a Captain of the Special Forces, S0beit, we are already putting a course of action into place that will bring new activity to the party and create opportunities for younger members to get involved in party politics, Congress, and executive departments in the Cabinet.
We are tirelessly working on a one stop shop for educational materials for all players in different stages of their eLife: New Player Guides, Political Guides, Military Guides, etc. We are working on ways to reward members for activity. We are working with other parties to try to secure less-contested regions to get more Libs into Congress. And yes... we are also working on forming a militia.
We are tired of the decline. We are working on securing a future. We are the Libertarians; and we want Liberty and Just FUN for ALL! Join us in our Rizon IRC chatroom for more information or to just hang out.

Thanks Speedy!
I think we have a good core to get things rolling well and have alot of plans to bring in new people to leadership.
The problem with the Libertarians is that the old UIP people who wanted to stay relevant moved there. The reason that a lot of people (myself included) left, is because we got tired of their constant pointless yammering.
Remember that "revolution" thing they did with the president a few months back where they confused the hell out of their new members and roleplayed their better people to death? It drove both of those groups away. That was the stake through their heart as a party.
^Hating on good ideas will get you nowhere.
The counterrevolution was a success. The party went into decline when I was banned ten days into my 3rd term.
I also don't really know of any UIP people in the party. If they are, they haven't announced themselves or volunteered to become a part of leadership.
But anyway, that's just wrong. The counterrevolution brought us up by 150 members or so. We were back at the #2 spot for awhile in fact.
Sam Wystan's Day was another big event for the party. Don't talk about things you obviously don't know about.
Besides, do you remember how many others jumped on that revolution bandwagon?
CRoy was brilliant for all he put into it.
I totally remember the ADTP, good party until most of the folks jsut shat there and moved to the top 3 parties back then
can i join? 😃
RELIGION needs to stay out of it.
absolutely ciuomolunga. you can join today.
@Raymond Buckland agreed.
@ Buckland / EJ:
I think you misunderstand. Religion didn't mean we are making a church and dedicated it to Dio - lol
It's a song and it also shows the work we plan on putting into the party.
Great article. I am excited about your ideas Jude.
Thank you for clearing the religion thing up for me also Jude!
I want that key chain.
Sh*t just got real.
Good things are coming.
