Join the new world

Hello fellow citizens,

I have been involved in politics since I joined eRepublik which was almost a year ago. I have done everything in politics but run for president or party president. Well, I plan to change that. Today I announce my run for Party President of the Democratic Action League.

The DAL is a great party as it assist’s new players and treats them like citizens who have been here for awhile. This is a good quality for any party to have as it exposes new players to game knowledge and gets them interested. The DAL is full of new citizens who may one day be in the position that I am in or even run the country. This is why the DAL a great part of eCanada and why I choose to run for Party President.

I have helped many, many citizens any way I can. So the DAL is a good fit for me. I already run the Canadian Health Services org which works with the DAL to give gifts to citizens. I have given away money, and given advice to a lot of citizens. As I said above, I have been involved in politics since I joined almost 1 year ago. I have talked with many party leaders and other party officials, so I have a lot of knowledge of party organization and planning. I plan to take this knowledge and combine it with the DAL’s new citizen support to create a great party for anyone to be apart of.

You may say… ‘But you just joined the DAL.’ Well, I think Jacobi has shown us that you don’t need to be apart of something very long to succeed in it. He went from being a boomer just a few months ago, to running our great country. I have experience and knowledge and a name that most people recognize, so imagine what I could do for the DAL!

I have already given the DAL another voice in congress as I am the second DAL congressman in the party.

I don’t plan to run the party alone. I plan to get other DAL members involved as much as they can. When something really works good, it’s never the leader who makes something work. It’s a team of people. Just like our country, and the DAL party. However the leader does put the right people in charge and uses their strength’s to advance the whole cause. This is where I come in.

1. New players/ recruitment

The DAL is doing a great job with recruiting new players. I mean just look at the party numbers rise day after day (Read this article.) I have been on the DAL forums and new members just keep coming on a constant basis. The DAL is a great party to join when your new because as I stated above, they help out as much as they can. It’s a great effort and I commend the DAL for it. They have shown that they have what it takes to make their party one of the best.

It’s a great thing when your new and getting a lot of help to get you started. Who knows, the new citizen we help today, could be the President a few months from now.

My plan for recruitment:

- To continue to help new citizens as much as we can by getting them involved in the party, and active in their elives so they will stick around and keep an interest. The better we can make their first experience, the better off we all are because they will stay longer and bring in friends. I have talked with Scorpius and admire his work of making the party have a closeness to it. I mean he sends every new member a personal welcome message and really puts the party and it’s members ahead of himself. I plan to do the same thing, and my past has proven this with all my donations etc.

- To continue pming as many citizens as possible and get them to give the DAL a chance as their party. I would like to commend Citizen B on his great work in doing this.

- Get the DAL name and it’s platform out to as many citizens as possible. One way to do this is to keep an updated party page on the eCanada forums. One of the problems new citizens have is they don’t know where to go in order to see parties stances and beliefs. So if the DAL could be one of the first parties to keep it’s platform and beliefs on the forum it will give us another edge.

2. Platform

I have not been given complete access to the DAL forums as of yet. But I don’t need to because I know the DAL is a party that works together to accomplish it’s goals. I plan to work with the great members of the DAL to come up with a plan that will show everyone what this party is all about. I am aware there is already a platform in the works, so this is great news as it has already been started.

The great thing the DAL has is it’s new citizen membership and it‘s many experienced members. So we can create a platform that will have viewpoints from both sides of the table. This will give the DAL an edge and show that we can benefit both sides, and not just one over the other.


3. Wellness/ DAL Charity

As you all know, I started and run along with Mackaybre the Canadian Health Services org since I am also the Minister of Social Services. The CHS already works with the DAL in getting wellness to new citizens or any citizen that needs health. I have vast knowledge in wellness and what works to gain the most wellness. For example: Did you know that if your wellness is really low, it is better to buy higher quality food, rather than being gifted to increase your wellness!

I plan to expand the DAL charity and give it more appeal and get more to use it, and donate to it. This charity is not used for recruitment, but rather a tool in order to benefit as many citizens as it can.

4. Other ideas

I plan to work with the DAL members to come up with other ideas for the Party. I will have a meeting with members and we will have a brainstorming session to come up with ideas and see what would work and what won’t. It is a group effort and I encourage all members to give their input.
