A Second Term, A New Focus

Day 779, 08:26 Published in USA Bulgaria by Jewitt

7 January, 2009, Day 779 of the New World - So elections are over, and hopefully we can all get past the mudslinging and dirty talk and get back down to business. We have a lot going on as a nation, and it is high time we cranked it in gear. A lot has changed over the past three days and you all need to know. Because knowing is only half the battle!

10,000 Fists - Revisited

A while ago, I came up with an idea. An idea to lay down the ground work for a program I called "10,000 Fists." It was a meme unto its own, as people would post randomly protesters and victory marches that portrayed tens to hundreds of individuals raising their fists. It even dropped down to being a major reason why I was supported in my failed attempt at the Presidency in November.

Seriously, Colbert has pictures for anything.

Well, November under Frost's Administration saw the creation of the U.S. Citizen Database, the framework for the 10,000 Fists campaign. December was a slow month, our Directors and Secretaries all away for the better part of the holiday season so little got done. However, if anyone is paying attention, the recent decline in voter count has everyone up in arms for a babyboom.

This is why I want to tell all U.S. citizens: Stop taking birth control (aka "not networking&quot😉 and take the initiative to get a friend or six on here. There are many efforts, and they all should be voted up. Anything with the phrase babyboom and USA in the title is worth everyone's time. Right now, I would like it if all of you could see this article about an actual competition to encourage the said burst of citizens.

The War on (Everything?)

Luckily, the peg seems to stabilizing after random bursts last week.

So, the War on the Economy is coming to a close as everything equalizes, Congress discusses dropping taxes, and the currency value maintaining its strength. Now our focus is on Asia, or the lack thereof.

Many look and see that since the Battle of Inner Mongolia, where we were served a defeat by Hungary, that the war in Asia had died down. What few have seen is that China has been defending her lands and is poised to take back what was lost. Over the weekend, Russia launched a two-pronged assault into Xinjiang and the First Pillar, Liaoning. Liaoning had been handed back to China during maneuvers with the United States and was now bordered by Russia, due to Russia's grabbing Jilin while the U.S. was locked in Inner Mongolia.

Xinjiang and Liaoning seemed important because this meant that Serbia, now idling in Pakistan, could easily swap in to the high iron region and give the little brat some teeth. Fortunate for us, with EDEN Mobile Corps, dispatched allies, and the U.S. Armed Forces, China pulled in a win on both battles. It was a great victory, and has brought about a new strategy to this war.

Not quite yet, but they are my goals, eh? Maybe some rumors are true...

This means that, right now, the United States will be taking a back seat. With the exceptions of Northeastern China, the Chinese nation is secure and India is as well. All around, this campaign has been a great success but we must set the U.S. to concentrate on other fronts. China is getting armed to the teeth with the best MPP's around, as is India - it is just taking a while since administrations are trying to move into their new offices. Due to this, we will be holding off on our own front-line contributions in favor of defending our allies, such as Romania and Greece.

Again, coordination and cooperation is key in this global conflict. As we can see in Europe, great coordination is bringing about victories in Poland and Spain. It is high time we brought those to China, Romania, Greece, and Israel.

Team America: To Karnataka!

Paradiziac talking to some looker on the shores of Florida.

Nation, let's pack our bags and move to Karnataka! We want to build that wall and make it a formidable force. In the words of James Strife, "I want two Great Polands." I do too, and I am sure the nation would benefit by having such mega-fortresses.

Way back, in what seems like yesterday, the entire nation crammed itself in Florida, creating the first region to be dubbed a "Super Fortress" by some, and a "Megalith" by others. The sheer size of its citizen wall and cost to attack alone made it nearly impossible to take without spending in excess of 8,000 GOLD - assuming the defenders did not fight once. It is time that the United States reclaimed her spot on the fortress list, and accompanied Poland where we rightfully belong.

But I cannot do it alone, I need all citizens willing to move to do so. If you are in California, that's fine, but anyone in Florida or in the Wasteland should seriously consider the move. Not only is it cooler than our existing fortress regions, it also is landlocked and definitely for those whom do not want rusty vehicles.
