Plato Foundation Report: Week 5

The Plato Foundation has chosen new projects to endorse this week.

Sponsorships and Grants
Gyantse has taken it upon himself to create a new Foundation to help new players get acquainted to the New World and reward them for their involvement. You can read more about his project, the Gyantse Foundation and even apply for a sponsorship. The Board has decided to support the project with a grant of 250 Gold.

William Thomas Riker wishes to Bring Back the Fun to the Community through a contest. Because Plato also wishes for the Media Module to live long and prosper, he will chip in with a sponsorship of 500 Gold to support Riker’s project.

The Brainstorming Party started a new edition of the Creative Brain Party for Writers. This literary contest for the eRomanian players which dates back to eDay 1902 will also receive a sponsorship of 500 Gold.


Other projects
ChaniryXXI presented us with the idea of a World help plan, which introduced a general idea of a program but with, for the timing of the decisions, no concrete steps to be taken. Since then, he has come up with a follow-up article, giving more details about the implementation of his plan. The project will be reviewed and a further decision will be made for next week’s article.

Earlier we have approved grants for four projects, all of which are currently ongoing and all of which funding will continue::

gustavo35 will receive another 250 Gold for his project The Cultural exchange Program which qualified for a month’s grant.

Mentalist de Bucovina will receive the second batch of two-week-grant, amounting 500 Gold, for his Worldwide Donation Project to Young Players. You can read more about the outcome of his eBolivian experience here.

The eRepublik Weekly Journal for the eBulgarian Community, a media program started by Sollam will also receive 250 Gold. You can read the latest edition of the Weekly Journal here.

Raphael Louis Habsburg Bourbon’s project, meant to help the eBrazilian Best Aviators will be sponsored with further 250 Gold. The report of the previous week can be found here.
