“I'm starting to write in the eRepublik community ... a little bit late, considering that I have been here for a while, but the idea of ​​setting up this newspaper is new and special.
My first article will be entirely dedicated to organizing a literary creation contest (poems, ballads, pamphlets, etc.). I mention that competing articles must be original, not copied or plagiarized.
The contest is aimed especially at my colleagues from Brainstorming Party and the e-Romanian community. This contest will be part of a series of several contests that will take place over a week, and the selected themes will vary from one week to the next.
The purpose of this contest is to show that Brainstorming is not just a simple party but a party that knows how to have fun. Also, the contest wants to bring something new in the Romanian press, which readers will be able to enjoy in the future.”

This is how maryostyle begins his first article (it was eDay 1902) and the story of what will become “Creative Brainstorming Party for Writers”.



This is what you may call an ancient project.
It became an experience that gathers players, writers, journalists, readers and it has friends and supporters throughout the eRomanian community. In the last four years, the task of organising the Literary Contest passed from one team to another, each doing their best to define clear and fair rules, adjusting the schedule and the details, hoping that the experience of participating authors and the public is both challenging and rewarding.
In order to ensure correctness, the prizes are awarded after adding the results of the vote of a secret jury summoned before each edition consisting of 5 experienced journalists from various parties and / or military units (some of them from Moldova) with the open vote of the readers expressed in comments. The share of each type of vote is 50% of the final result.
It is not allowed to enroll articles or to cast votes after the deadlines set by the organizers.
The Secretaries of the Contest are in charge with establishing the theme of each contest, ensuring the drafting of the articles, the jury convening, public relations, the correspondence with competitors and eventually the Ministry of Media, the counting of the votes, calculating of the results and the solving of the possible contestations, according to the competition regulations. The treasurer of the contest is responsible for the management of the donation funds, distribution of the prizes and ensuring transparency regarding the origin of all the funds. Secretaries may change the format , but any type of organized competition must respect the values ​​and principles underlying the Contest since its inception.

It is all about the community.
One of the main goals is to invite and include as many members of the eRomanian community in a conversation, make them express their thoughts, learn to communicate and understand each other, start building bridges in a (sometimes) deeply divided eSociety . Steps were made to also include a foreign audience, since we keep discovering many amazing people and great writers.

It makes you see the eWorld with different eyes
It was no easy task, but the answer of the community was and still is incredible. Although the necessary funds are provided by Brainstorming congressmen, with each new edition we receive donations from lots of friends of the Contest and many laureates return the prizes - to be used in the next competition. There are no words to describe the fair play and supportive attitude of players from all MU and parties, different background - you get one more opportunity to know how great they really are.

It is about writing, but with a social component
Not only the simple existence of this type of media-based contest generates countless interesting (and sometimes exceptional) articles, but they give a reason to stay to people less motivated by BH medals, spark interesting conversations, help young players learn about the community, become a distinct voice within it and receive (by participating) well deserved help with their development.



We want to make sure it goes on, because it is the best way to make/meet friends in eRepublik.

“Incep a scrie in comunitatea EREPUBLIK… cam tarziu, tinand cont ca sunt de ceva vreme aici, insa ideea infiintarii acestui ziar e inedita si speciala.
Primul meu articol va fi dedicat in totalitate organizarii unui concurs de creatie literara (poezii, balade, pamflete,etc). Mentionez ca articolele concurente trebuie sa fie originale, nu copiate din alte parti sau plagiate.
Concursul se adreseaza in special colegilor mei din BRAINSTORMING PARTY dar si comunitatii e-romanesti. Acest concurs va face parte dintr-o serie de mai multe concursuri ce se vor desfasura pe durata catorva saptamani, iar temele selectate vor diferite de la o saptamana la alta.
Scopul acestui concurs este sa aratam ca BRAINSTORMING PARTY nu este doar un simplu partid oarecare, ci un partid care stie sa se si distreze. De asemenea concursul vrea a mai aduce ceva nou in presa romaneasca, cu care cititorii se vor putea delecta pe viitor.”

Asa isi incepe maryostyle primul articol (era eZiua 1902) si povestea ce va deveni “Concursul Literar Brain”.


Acesta este un proiect cu vechime
A devenit o experiență care adună jucători, scriitori, jurnaliști, cititori și are prieteni în întreaga comunitate eRomaneasca. În ultimii patru ani sarcina organizării concursului literar a trecut de la o echipă la alta, fiecare făcând tot ce le stă în putință pentru a defini reguli clare și corecte, ajustând calendarul și detaliile astfel incat experiența autorilor participanți și a publicului sa fie o provocare, dar și o recompensa in sine.
De organizare se ocupa Secretarii concursului, care stabilesc tema fiecarei editii, asigura redactarea articolelor, convocarea juriului, relatiile cu publicul, concurentii si eventual Ministerul Media, numaratoarea voturilor, centralizarea rezultatelor si rezolvarea eventualelor contestatii, conform regulamentului concursului. De gestionarea fondurilor din donatii si distribuirea premiilor se ocupa trezorierul concursului, care asigura transparenta in privinta provenientei tuturor sumelor. Secretariatul poate modifica formatul sau modul de desfasurare, dar orice formula a unei competitii organizate trebuie sa respecte valorile si principiile ce stau la baza Concursului inca de la infiintare.

Este vorba despre comunitate.
Unul dintre scopurile principale este de a invita și a include cât mai mulți membri ai comunității în conversație, de a oferi o ocazie sa se exprime, să comunice și sa se înțeleaga, de a gasi conexiuni într-o eSocietate (uneori) profund divizată. Incercand deschiderea catre o audiență străină am avut ocazia sa descoperim mulți oameni uimitori și talentati.

Te face să vezi eRepublik cu alti ochi
Nu este o sarcină ușoară, dar răspunsul comunității a fost și este încă incredibil. Deși fondurile necesare sunt oferite de congresmenii Brainstorming, la fiecare nouă ediție primim donații de la numerosi prieteni ai Concursului, iar mulți laureați înapoiaza premiile - pentru a fi folosite în următoarea competiție. Nu există cuvinte care să descrie comportamentul fair-play și atitudinea concurentilor, indiferent de UM, partid sau chiar diferente de opinie. La fiecare editie aveți șansa să va convingeti cât de grozavi sunt, de fapt.

Este vorba despre scris, dar cu o componentă socială
Nu numai ca simpla existența a acestui tip de concursuri in media generează nenumărate articole interesante (uneori excepționale), dar oferă persoanelor mai puțin motivate de medaliile de BH un motiv să rămână, iscă discuții interesante, ajută tinerii jucători să isi cunoasca comunitatea, să devină o voce distinctă în cadrul ei și să primească (prin participare) un ajutor binemeritat in dezvoltarea lor.



Vrem să ne asigurăm că merge mai departe, pentru ca este cel mai bun mod de a iti face / întâlni prietenii in eRepublik.
