2-Clicker 2-Minute Morning Whiskey & Mao Tai Summary - 6 August

Day 625, 04:56 Published in USA USA by Zheng He

The political news, of course, is that Emerick is our new president. Our outgoing president, Harrison Richardson, gave a very classy consession speech. It's an old truism that incumbents don't lose during a war, but now we know that incumbents have a really hard time winning while losing a war.

After losing Texas, I figure many of us want a stiff drink before heading back to bed. So I'm offering USA whiskey and a sentimental taste of Chinese Mao Tai. Yup, no more Texas. Once again we fell to the retreat and attack again ploy. We also lost Arkansas to Portugal and Iowa and Wisconsin look like they will soon be lost to Russia.

We held off the attack of Maryland by Portugal, but they attacked again. Indonesia is attacking Louisiana and Russia is attacking Iowa.

The only good news is that our ally, Canada, is still holding Ontario. Maybe that's where all of our warriors were? The battle's not over yet, and PEACE might still take it.

If you're interested in battle tactics, here's a great summary in tactics 101. An interesting thing about game mechanics is that everything resets at midnight erep time. This is 3:00am EDT, which gives a huge advantages to players in Asia.

The "hero" on our side in Texas was the same for more than 12 hours yesterday: Intereza with only 3111 damage. That sounds like we're sure not piling on our big guns. Maybe there is a strategy but abandoning Texas without fighting is demoralizing to folks who don't know the strategy.

Is the strategy of issuing battle orders after 11:00am erep hoping the Indos are asleep?
